**Q: Does this simply turn on and off, or does it have that annoying sos blinking to press through?**
A: Yes it does blink first, if you press it on and off you get the normal beam. Having said that it is a good torch , very bright with an adjustable beam, I use it every night walking the dog.

**Q: how many lumens does this torch have?**
A: As a recent purchaser of this particular model, I can only compare it to a cumbersome larger version which radiated 1,000 lumens when I was doing security work. This torch is much smaller and I reckon that it produces in the range of 1,500/2,000 lumens. It stipulates Pro S1,600; so I reckon that I've made a good approximation with regards to luminosity. It does advertise for tactical use and not for children. It certainly packs a punch in that department and is a lot brighter than the one I had. This is certainly aided by the large convex sense and powerful LED filament. But one! You won't be disappointed by its performance and robust tactile grip.

**Q: Which batteries would be better to use in a torch?**
A: It is recommended to use 18650 rechargeable batteries or 26650 rechargeable batteries for the torch as it allows for optimum illumination.

**Q: What's the warrenty on this torch please?**
A: One year. The photo that is shown in someone’s hand, must be the smallest hand ever, was disappointed in the actual size of the torch. Be warned!!!

Impressed with this torch, it's very well engineered and feels quality. Light is very bright and can be altered as required - it's a plus for me that it takes 3 AA batteries as I can use my rechargeable AAs rather than having to buy anything larger (as so many torches seem to require). Price is very good for the build quality - my brother bought one of these several years ago for the same price and his is still working well with no issues.

Insert bstteries, push the button, goodbye darkness my old friend. As bright as something really bright, lights up the night sky like a beacon, if you were to take it to the coast, you could impersonate a lighthouse, and lead sailors to their doom like a siren from a greek tale. Only with light, not song..unless of course you can carry a tune, if so, knock yourselves out. Great value for money, Ideal size to fit the hand of a normal sized human. May be a tad small for a giant. Seems good quality and would do quite a bit of damage to a wouldbe night time assailant or ne'er do well..if you were to be attacked. Great zoomability, I don't recommend looking directly at it..its blinding like would be visable from many many miles away..so arms length and you're risking permanent eyeball damage. Would recommend.
