I like these bites better than the larger bars. Easier to eat a smaller amount at one time. They taste good with good texture. A bit salty, but that’s OK. Best protein product of this type I’ve found. Will be buying them again. Would be helpful if they had a picture of the nutrition label displayed here on Amazon for those interested in it. Also did not realize that package says refrigerate after opening, and it is multiple servings!

WARNING! VENISON with BEEF ADDED NOW
This product was my sons go to. He has Extreme allergies which one is beef. Why Epic?

Hard as rock!
Very very dry, hard to chew.

It's almost pure venison
This would have gotten 5 stars easily based on taste, consistency, and convenience. The nutritional values make it perfect for an easy go to snack that's guilt free. However, if you read the packaging and the ingredients, there is some beef mixed in. I am trying to keep red meat to a minimum in my diet (as compared to game meat of elk, venison, wild boar, etc) so this is where it was kind of a bummer. However, there is no better snack product I can recommend in terms of health benefits, so for now this will do.

Great snack
Great snack when you’re hiking or for a general snacking. Once you open the package however you must consume within a day or so. Anything past a few days and the product starts to mold.
