Dawn of the Bunny Suicides

Fantastic, as always. What is there to say? Is it wrong to say these books are hilarious?! I read The Book Of Bunny Suicides and was pleased to see this book is much, much longer than the other two novels and is also a hardcover. As an avid animal lover (and previous rabbit owner!) I feel somewhat guilty loving a book like this, but it's just so darn funny! I got one as a Christmas gift as well! There's no blood or guts in this book--it is just little, innocent white fluffy rabbits marching willingly to their deaths in a million incredibly creative ways. Despite the book being wonderful, I did have to exchange one of the two copies I purchased because one arrived damaged. The cover had three dented spots on the front and as I was giving it as a gift, this was unacceptable. It was annoying to have to exchange it. My other copy was fine.

It’s a touch morbid, but what does one expect from the title?

Pretty funny. Some of the suicides are so intricate that they take a while to figure out. Obviously not for people that find suicide to be a sensitive subject.

Mostly taking themselves into pop culture (Star Trek, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc.) these depressed denizens of dementia are at it again. This book is double the size of the first two, and just as twisted and clever. Artwork is the same, which I've found has become a classic in itself. Most "stories" are one page and a few are several, just like always. I loved it, and am already watching for a next book. This is great to show to any unsuspecting animal-lover. They always get ticked, and then start giggling...

Love the series! This is a great and awesome continuation of the "Bunny Suicides". When it arrived, I immediately read it and then went and re-read the others. No, it isn't exactly "kid friendly", but I don't think it supposed to be, either.

So the first question is how is the author's writing? Well let me tell you it's riveting. Each word jumps off the page and sentences are skillfully crafted and honed in a masterful style that must have taken decades to craft. I'm just kidding, it's a picture book about bunnies committing suicide, it's probably not going to win the Nobel prize for literature but if you've got a little bit of a dark sense of humor you'll laugh

Bunny Suicides est un super livre, très drôle et plein d'imagination. Des lapins qui se suicident, farfelu mais génial! Donc ce ne sont que des dessins, il n'y a pas de textes, pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'anglais c'est ok!

Humor ist unterschiedlich, mir gefällt's daher gebe ich 5 Sterne, man kann Dinge aus einem anderen Winkel betrachten und vlt. davon etwas mitnehmen, sprich nicht alles zu ernst zu nehmen im Leben :-)

この著者の絵本は、紙の本が、３種３冊ある。 読むとニコニコ気分になれるので、持ち歩きたくなって、電子ブック版を 初めて購入。 うさ君、ウサちゃん 等の、suicides も、このシリーズでは、いよいよ、dawnってわけね。 彼らの、涙ぐましい！までの、suicide 成就にかける 工夫や細工に払う努力は報われる！ ちょっと、儚くはあるが、そこは、この著者のブラックユーモアがバッチリきいて、やっぱり、笑っちゃう。 楽しくなる。 どっちかというと、繊細なひとより、自称、ネクラ で、ちょっと、いい加減な、ノー天気 なお方 にオススメしたい。

Without a doubt one of the darkest, most twisted, hilarious books ever made... I don't know how it works, but it's brilliantly funny! Do fluffy cute rabbits really want to self terminate? They really are creative in the ways they want to go!
