Will this fit my old Eddy Tritan 750ml bottle?

I believe this is a universal cap and should fit all their bottles. From what I see online the only difference in the bottles are the volume of fluid they hold; the circumference of them appear to be the same. If you have any doubts check how to contact them on their website. I hope this helps.

Has anyone else had issues with the smell and taste of the mouth piece?

I wash my mouthpiece in hot soapy water after each use and this seems to keep it clean and free from any smells.

Will this fit a Chute® Mag Bottle 740ml/25oz

Yes, I brought this for my 1l steel Chute® Mag bottle and it fits perfectly, for the smaller bottle you will have to cut the straw to size but there is a measurement guide for straw lengths of each botte size included on the packaging. Hope this helped.
