Finally a true battery tester for hearing aids.
The value for this item is way worth it. Fits my 675 hearing aid battery just perfect! Easy to use, quality is awesome. It is by far the best battery tester for hearing aid batteries.

Quick and compact
This is a battery tester marketed specifically for hearing aid button batteries. This one is blue, although it also comes in a couple of different colors. The tester is about as long as my middle finger; it's about as wide as two fingers together at the bottom, about as thick as my thumbnail, and tapers slightly at the top. The unit is smooth, with rounded edges. At the wider end is a metal plate for the battery--about as big as my two thumb nails together. An LCD column with teeny tiny percentage markings runs up the middle. The screen is about the size of my little finger tip to just past the first joint, and a little wider than my little finger. It comes with a short, attached ball chain. Two slide out drawers, one on each side in the back, allows for the storage of two extra batteries. Placing a battery negative side down and pressing it lightly against a tiny bar lights up the LCD display, showing a bar climbing to the top. Placing a used battery and a never used battery on the tester measured full charge on both. The manufacturer does note false positives and false negatives are possible due to the condition of the battery casing. This is a handy little device for measuring the available charge of a hearing aid battery. It's portable, relatively sturdy if the metal plate is protected, and convenient for on the spot testing to check if a battery is dead. It does have a LCD screen, so the less light available, the darker the screen will be. For best display, use in bright light. It is easy to drop the battery trying to position it on the plate, and then taking it off again. People with fine motor control issues may find it frustrating. At almost $8.00, I feel it's reasonably priced.

NOT A BATTERY TESTER
This can be used only to check the battery voltage BEFORE you put it in the hearing aid to make sure it has been air activated. It is otherwise useless as anything other than a battery storage case. The description mentions electricity bounce, but does not say this will only test a NEW battery.

Very small but efficient!
Love this! So small I carry it with me. As an itinerant special needs teacher I need to be able to easily and quickly check hearing aid and CI batteries. Going to the nurses office or waiting for the interpreter to get the HA folder wastes my precious minutes of student contact time. I carry this little ditty with me, whip it out and deal with whatever it tells me. We’re up and running again within a minute of checking and changing batteries or texting parents about possible HA problems. Love this little thing!

Works great - well worth the price
About ten years ago, I bought a bunch of hearing aid batteries but did not use them for ten years. Recently, I started wearing hearing aids consistently and although the batteries expired over seven years ago, I didn't want to throw them away if they still worked. Using this device, I have been able to use the batteries that still work. I have found that the batteries are either totally dead (around 30% of batteries) or are as good as new. I have used these batteries for the last three months along with a few new batteries and the old ones last just as long.
