As a plant based eater, I have taken a vegan B12 supplement for years. Recently, I ran out and was “too busy” to order more. It's a good B complex, but just beware, they recently changed the formula to use nicotinic acid, which causes a flush effect in most people, especially on an empty stomach. If you've experienced this before and aren't a fan, definitely look for a complex without nicotinic acid.

After reading the reviews some people are claiming to have a bad reaction to theses B- vitamins and that they cannot take these any longer. This is a Niacin flush and is a good side effect of taking the right niacin. Vitamin B3 or niacin is a vitamin that doctors will often prescribe to decrease your cholesterol. The vitamin B-3 in these vitamins will often cause the flushing that will cause skin redness with a burning, prickly sensation. This is harmless and is actually very good for your body.
