Nutiva USDA Organic Cold-Pressed Hemp Seed Plant Protein Power, 3 Pound, Fiber Plus with Essential Amino Acids, Non-GMO, Whole 30 Approved, Vegan & Keto

I got this at the recommendation of my friend, kind of an impulse buy. Its excellent, I highly recommend it, when you receive it it looks like a typical forest/camo green--not the off-brown in the photo. I put the powder, about 4 tablespoons, in fruit (and veggie) smoothies--equates to 11 grams protein I believe and a ton of other very good things that it does for you, both known to our young human science, and, probably not known to our science yet either. This is a plant, when you study it, that has been around humans in their places of evolution and settlement for thousands of years, and yes I am speaking of this plant alone, not including its sister plant of the psychotropic affecting variety. It has a nice nutty flavor, its absolutely superb in terms of its nutritional capacity. Its like quinoa is to grains--the highest in protein content among the grains--its nearly the king. Simply put this stuff is the bomb, you could put this stuff in virtually anything, for any dish, or beverage, and it would make that end result concoction super fortified to use a made up term. What I do most mornings, with a regular chunka breakfast type food is make one of these hemp smoothies: is get a bag of frozen fruit (costco has a great one): shave some of that stuff off, add 4 or more tblspoons of this powder, put in a some fresh fruit or veggies (or whatever), and then add some liquid (filtered water, organic soy milk, etc.) for the liquid portion, put it in blender, blend it for 3-4 minutes on low first, then high; when dundee, croccodile style you've just made a simple but great nutritional drink & source of nutrition. This according to the same friend is a pretty amazing price too--although I cannot say one way or the other myself. I've tried both the de-fiberized version of this, and this high fiber version. Both are awesome, and both are really high in fiber. I really liked this one, because I felt like it contained more of the hemp plant. This is more gritty, contains more black flecks that won't dissolve, and a little less delicious than the other kind. But, it's still an awesome product. If you don't get enough fiber in your diet and you want a tasty way of getting fiber, then this has my highest recommendation. If you get plenty of fiber, then the Nutiva's other protein will be best for you. Either way, definitely try this delicious protein, please. And, every person in the world might not consider this to be delicious. But, I've tasted a ton of protein drinks with just water and no sweetener, and this is by far the most delicious. You're probably wondering if you really need the big three pound bag, and no matter how big of a container of this that you get, you'll definitely want some more. With other protein powders, I feel weird and that maybe they're not great for my body. But with this Nutiva hemp protein powder, I felt extremely good and healthy every time I drank it. As you see in my video, I just mix it with water and it tastes good. But, it tastes great mixed in other things, too. Pros: +Delicious hemp protein +Tons of fiber, 50% more than Nutiva's lower fiber version +Mixes quickly, well, and without clumps +Tastes great (for a protein powder) Cons: -Has a gritty residue that can be hard to drink

Let's get this out of the way. For those who don't really know what hemp is, you may as well say you've got a big bag of pulverized rope. It's fiber and protein, nothing more, nothing less. For those thinking they are going to really dig the flavor on this, nope! It's rope! Rope pushes crap through your body, leaves some protein behind, and that's what it does for you. It isn't blueberries, and it isn't sweet and tasty. Negative reviews because something that isn't supposed to taste great doesn't taste great is kind of like leaving negative reviews on matches because they catch fire. So much for my rant on people who complain that a product is what the product is supposed to be. With that said, this product is everything hemp should be, and there's a lot of it. It's ground to a very fine consistency so it stays suspended in pretty thin liquids. While hemp isn't supposed to taste good, it could taste worse, and this tastes pretty decent for hemp. It's a bit grassy, but that's what hemp is. Mix it with your avocado, a banana, some spinach, and some stevia, and you won't taste the hemp. You will still feel it in your mouth though, so don't get too excited. Learn not to try to chew your smoothies and this won't bother you so much though. It's fine enough that it doesn't leave much for residue in your mouth or between your teeth like some other brands do. Add a little more liquid than you would otherwise, because this stuff does dry out your smoothie a bit. You will also stay less hungry for longer periods of time. I also add some chia seed, hemp seed, and some almonds for a full day of protein and something that stays with you just fine till your next meal. Hemp will clean you out, and the size of your poops will drastically increase as it cleans out all the stuff that lags behind in your colon. You'll feel better and your body will process other foods and nutrients much better, which is particularly good if you are also detoxing at the same time. Your detox will dump it out of your cells into your colon and hemp fiber moves it right out to where it belongs.... flushed!

I did like the full protein and the fiber content I had at the same time

1 scoop this everyday and all my "movement" issues have lessened if not gone completely. Will continue to use daily

Pretty gritty... Must be blended in a smoothie! Very good otherwise, just not as easy as I was hoping for!
