1/2 Mile Supplemental Hosmart Driveway Alarm Sensor (1 Coffee Sensor only)

The range is very good. I have 4 sensors around my workshop and cars and the receiver in the house. I have the receiver plugged into a mains charger which powers up between 10pm and 7 am. No false alarms, great detection range and simple to install. Battery life of the sensors is still good after 8 months. Very well made Very impressive.

However the motion detectors are coming with QR codes, often associated with mobile/scannering devices, which are not mentioned in the description and the distinctive red light allowing those seeking intrusion can work out the range of the motion sensor.

Did the job

took a litle while to set up correctly (sensors fixed in a temporary location till we confirm that they cover all areas). Instructions are a MUST read but are clear/concise - units of good quality - too early as yet to comment on battery life

Bought this over 6 months ago and had been working perfectly but then every time I charged the sensor a couple of days later it would tell me the battery was low! Contacted support and they sent me a replacement sensor…great customer service!

I was sure I had ordered both the señsor and the receiver. When it said the words "coffee sensor only" I had thought it pertained to the colour options, not that it would be the sole product. Now I have to go back and source a receiver...

Works far better than expected and couldn't be easier to install. So good I've bought a second sensor for extra coverage.

Sensor werkt degelijk , bereik is uitstekend (getest op meer dan 100meter) maar beschrijving van het toestel klopt niet. Bereik van de sensor is beperkt regelbaar (2 posities i.p.v. 4) en de batterij is geen meegeleverde 18650 batterij maar 4 AA batterijen zijn noodzakelijk (niet meegeleverd).

Hands down the best motion sensors. I've used this brand, Chamberlain and Guardline. They all don't work as good and aren't as durable as these Hosmarts. The Chamberlain sometimes won't pick up dark colored vehicles or persons moving slowly in dark clothing. These Hosmarts are damn near 100%, if not 100%, accurate. Battery charge lasts forever on the sensors. A full charge will last at least 6 months. Battery on AAs for the receiver will last approximately one month. But the receiver has the ability to be plugged into an AC. I've dropped sensors and the receiver, the wind has knocked over a sensor sensor onto cement from 4' and they all held up fine. Had a small issue and customer service (Howard took care of me. I called at approximately 9pm PST. They called me back within a minute to address my issues. I use a total of 6 now for each perimeter.

Have you used this brand of alarm for years now it has the best range and I would say the least amount of false alarms out of all the alarms I have tried over the past 20 years
