Cons: The bag can be a pain once in a while since the opening is a little narrow. If you have large hands I would recommend transferring to a larger bag of sorts. The bag is also thick and stiff which is great for durability but it also means the edges can be quite sharp... nothing a nail file or a lighter can’t fix. Pros: Works wonderfully Love the little clutch ball it comes in makes for easy use and less mess/waste. Way superior formula to regular gym chalk blocks and easier to apply Helped prevent blisters Background: I used this when I was training in RawStrength (bench, dead, and back with little to now assistive gear only authorized waist belts, knee conpression, or lifting straps— like the lasso style). I used the block chalk my barbell club provided but wanted to have my own Incase I worked out at home or at a different gym after hours. Let me tell you this stuff is great it has great adhesion and really gives you a solid grip. It almost feels like having a rubber coating on your palms. I have used it for more than just my palms. I have puffed it over my shoulders for back squats and on the front of my thighs for deadlifts to help the bar glide when I tracked too close to my legs. To be honest during the summer being a girl that is a fan of short shorts. I like to keep some on my car to dab on the inner part of my thighs to help with chaffing or even on my feet before putting on shoes that I don’t wear socks with to help with chaffing but to also help keep them from sliding. Either way if you need a good gym chalk this stuff is great.

A nice refillable little shot, and a great quality chalk. Before this product, I was using the Metolius Eco Ball, which is great for outdoor climbing since it doesn't leave chalk marks all over your landmark of choice and keeps things pretty/challenging for the next guy. But, my main gripe with Metolius is that it takes A LOT of the Eco Chalk to give me the grip I need in the gym, and I went through it really quickly after they switched routes and added new, slick handholds. White Gold is great for the gym because it's super grippy, and it has a nice little pile of loose chalk at the bottom of the bag so you can refill your chalk ball one more time. I really liked the extra loose stuff because I've been experimenting with adding a little chalk to my FEET to get better grip with my shoes and to prevent The Dreaded Evolv Stank. Also, this was a good change from the EcoBall since now I can actually SEE the chalk on my hands while I climb, and I know where to put hand lotion afterward. EcoBall chalk is dang near invisible, but like I said, it's meant to be that way for all y'all outdoorsmen and women. I've seen better reviews on other chalks, but honestly this is great stuff for a novice climber like me, and the price makes it easy to come back to if you're more experienced.

Releases small amounts of chalk, so look elsewhere if you want more release. Comes loaded with chalk. The plastic bag is reusable, but you'll should use a dedicated chalk bag. The drawstring is decent -- it's holding up. Nothing really to write home about. There aren't much other options for a refillable chalk shot. Bottom Line: Recommended.

My daughter uses a chalkball at her gymnastics studio and needed some for her bar at home. Loose chalk gets dirty easily. So, she wanted to stick to a ball form. The cloth is soft and allows the chalk powder to come through at just the right pace. It fits nicely in her hands and is easy to grab up and use. It's held together by a drawstring with a sliding plastic fastener, which should make it simple to refill. But we're expecting it to hold quite awhile before that will be necessary. We store it in a regular zip-lock bag, and it's easy for her to transport in her gym bag, too. It's simply a nice ball.

Works well! I keep it in a cheap sip-lock bag stored in my gym bag so it doesn't get on my clothes, shoes, and other lifting gear. I simply take it out of the bag when I am about to lift and rub the ball into my hands. Sadly my gym just banned the use of chalk.... so that sucks. But I would recommend it! Good chalk quality! It is the right stuff for lifting and will really help you increase your grip strength.

I got the refillable ball and I use to keep it in a chalk bag. The ball releases much more chalk than I would expect. After a few days of usage all the chalk moved from the ball to my chalk bag. After I finished this chalk I filled this ball with metolius super chalk. This combination of the black diamond ball and metolius super chalk is perfect. Metolius super chalk seems to be "thicker" than the black diamond chalk so now I get exactly the amount of chalk I need from the ball.

This sock does very well with dispensing chalk on my hands. And in my bag it's left a nice layer of loose chalk, so now I've got choices in chalk application depending on what I want. Not too much to say, its purpose is self explanatory. But it works well. For reference, I don't have very sweaty hands, so that might be a factor according to other reviews. But for me I'm definitely glad I bought it (refillable, don't know why you would buy a non-refillable).
