Works great. Easy install.
Adequate adjustment positions, does the job, easy to install, you need a hammer to drive it all the way into the hinge. If your hinge is painted, use a wooden stick to hammer it into the hinge to avoid damaging the paint and the door jamb.

Simple, effective, minimalistic and aesthetically pleasing!
I loosely work in the commercial door sphere and I rarely get involved in residential doors, but I installed this in my house and it is truly unique and quite functional. While it does not create a super hard stop (like a wall stop), and may not work in all conditions… where aesthetics and simply designed practicality meet… this easy to install hinge stop is brilliant. Never ceases to amaze me simple products that are still different than the standard and look like it almost isn’t there! Super creative and very minimal.

Brilliant invisible solution
Recently bought a new vanity that was 3 inches too long and didn’t allow the door to close all the way, since the door opened to 90 degrees before hitting the vanity I thought a simple stopper would be a good fix and found this one searching. It’s a brilliant and easy to install stopper that fits into any of the hinges. It stops the door at a perfect angle and the black color blends right into the hinges of my door. My only disappointment was finding it about half the price after I had already purchased it from another vendor. All in all it’s a great solve for making sure a door doesn’t open too far.

A Disappointing and Ineffective Solution
As a homeowner who takes security seriously, I recently purchased the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II Hinge Pin Stop in the Satin Nickel finish. With its promise to fit all 3" to 4-1/2" residential hinges, I was eager to secure my doors and provide an extra layer of protection for my family. However, after using this product extensively, I regretfully award it a measly 1 out of 5 stars. First and foremost, the installation process was a major letdown. The package came with vague instructions that lacked crucial details. As a result, I found myself struggling to properly position and secure the hinge pin stop. The lack of clear guidance made the process frustrating and time-consuming. If the manufacturer had provided clearer instructions or even an installation video, it would have been immensely helpful. Moreover, the quality of the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II left much to be desired. The Satin Nickel finish, which initially seemed elegant, started to chip and peel off after only a few weeks of use. This not only compromised the overall appearance of my door but also raised concerns about the product's durability. I expected better craftsmanship, especially considering the price I paid for it. Unfortunately, the functionality of the hinge pin stop was equally disappointing. While it claimed to fit all 3" to 4-1/2" residential hinges, it failed to do so effectively. The stop would often slip out of place, rendering it useless. Even when I managed to position it correctly, it didn't securely hold the door in place. On numerous occasions, a gentle push was all it took for the door to break free from the hinge pin stop's grip. This compromised the entire purpose of the product and left me questioning its effectiveness. In terms of security, the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II fell short of expectations. I had hoped it would provide an additional layer of protection against forced entry. However, it proved to be an ineffective deterrent. I could easily see how someone with ill intentions could overcome the hinge pin stop without much effort. Its lack of reliability and durability made me doubt its ability to withstand any significant force. Furthermore, the customer support from Nuk3y was extremely disappointing. After experiencing multiple issues with the product, I reached out to their support team for assistance. However, their response was slow and unhelpful. It took several attempts to even get a response, and when I finally did, it was a generic and uninformative reply. The lack of proactive customer service and unwillingness to address my concerns left a sour taste in my mouth. In conclusion, the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II Hinge Pin Stop in Satin Nickel was a disappointing purchase. The vague installation instructions, poor quality and finish, ineffective functionality, and lackluster customer support contributed to my dissatisfaction with this product. It failed to live up to its promises and did not provide the security and peace of mind I was seeking. I cannot recommend the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II and strongly advise potential buyers to explore alternative options for securing their doors.

Furniture/Wall Saver
I built a custom record cabinet for our vinyl collection. I also have two young kids who tend to fling doors open forcefully. I got this Hinge Pin to set where the door will stop so that it keeps my custom furniture safe. It was very easy to install. I used a small/narrow screwdriver and hammer to remove the previous hinge pin and then hammered this into place and then adjusted the stopper while testing the door. Installing the hinge pin scraped a little of the white paint off the door trim, which I'll retouch soon. Very happy with this solution as it's virtually hidden / not noticeable by guests and very sleek/not bulky. It does have a slight creak to it as the hinge stopper pushes against the wood frame. I normally use vaseline to fix squeaky hinges, but I don't think it's the solution here. I'll play around with it later if it bothers me overtime.

Great idea, not quite there yet
These door pins are designed to stop the swing of the door, so you no longer need those annoying spring things on the baseboards, you know the ones, the ones you always hit with the vacuum cleaner or step on when moving furniture in a room. You replace the top or middle door pin, drop one of these pins in its place and use the controlling arm to adjust the door swing. The problem I had was, on some doors I was able to get the perfect adjustment, and the doors worked perfectly. On the majority of the room "entry doors I could not get them to adjust close enough to the wall without hitting (see pictures). These pins have a splined main shaft and a matching spline on the control arm, the problem is that the splines are too big, if they used smaller but deeper splines there would be more refined adjustments. So for now, back to the old standard, my clients will just have to wait until I find a better solution

Perfect way to hide a door stop.
This is the only door stop one should use. Easy to tap the pin from the door and replace it with this stopper. No unsightly pegs on the baseboard, floor or door.

Works Perfectly
This pin is easy to install and works perfectly. You can barely see it on the hinge, unlike most door stops.
