Works very well great for chisel's and plane blades , a nice width very useful

Great value – use them in a jig! As others have said, they are a little shorter than the more expensive ones. Dimensions are 15cm long by 5cm wide. In the picture I provided, I stuck them to a board. I also included a little bit of wood at the same thickness as the stones, as a run-off area. That solved the problem of them being too short. Regarding width, I managed to sharpen a large jointing plane iron with them. Just do the middle first, then move it over to do the sides of the bevel. Still works fine. Importantly, the grits are 300, 400 and 600. For fine honing, I added a sheet of 1500 grit sandpaper stuck to the board, and my homemade leather strop. So, considering that other brands can be up to £100 for each block, these three are great value. You just need to use them in a slightly different way.

This set of diamond sharpening stones maybe good for sharpening knives, even chisels up to a point, but totally useless for plane irons. They are both too short; which only gives you less than 3 inches usable length when used with a honing guide, but also way too narrow to sharpen my jointer plane irons without sliding side to side. Another slightly annoying feature (or lack of) is a lack of identification between the three stones. Only one face is used for purpose, so there could easily be a stamp on the opposite side, or even on an edge to identify the grit levels as the three look virtually identical. On the plus side, I have used them all for both knives and chisels, and the edge they give is quite impressive for what has to be said is a very good price.

This is my first set of sanding stones and I've found them to be a good investment, along with a honing tool. I can get a nice sharp edge on my chisels

Had these for 2 days now. On 2nd day went back to find they’d already started rusting even though dried off after using sharpening oil. Sharpened about 5 chisels on them with ease but the product is already showing major wear, so whilst this product does work I wouldn’t class them as professional and I don’t expect professional quality from them for the price as you can pay £50 or more per diamond stone for proper professional ones. Good for starting to learn chisel sharpening but will be buying premo ones as I get more into sharpening

They are extremely narrow and honestly kind of a waste of money. If you are sharpening woodworking tools scroll on by. It won’t fit most of the plane blades and it won’t get your chisels very sharp since 600 is the highest grit. Pretty useless honestly

I use these for honing my wood turning chisels while turning. The quality and performance are both excellent, as was the service and delivery. The price was also highly attractive . All up I'm highly pleased.
