There must be a minimum 3mm / 1/4” gap between the door and the floor in order to correctly insert and fit the DoorJammer’s flange under the door. Extension Foot Extra height for fitting to doors that have a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. A: Your question doesn't make sense as there is no alarm on this (totally mechanical) device. It is a very effective piece if kit, however.

A: Not really, in my opinion. It's designed for inward opening doors.

Very easy to install and works on a large variety of door types. Latches do not matter with this. It's very sturdy when installed and will provide resistance for intruders. Packs away nicely into a suitcase or handbag.
