FEL-PRO OS 30688 Engine Oil Pan Gasket Set for Nissan Murano

Perfect fit and delivery time.

Worked great, fit well, made things quick and easy. I am not a fan of using RTV silicon unless that is the only option. A gasket like this one is much less of a hasle. It's only a few dollars more than the package of RTV you would need to do a oil pan. You don't have to worry about letting anything dry before filling with oil and driving. I couldn't find torque specs for the oil pan on my 2002 Nissan Altima SE 3.5 So I ended up using a short 1/4 ratchet, tightend the bolts starting in the center and working out to the ends using a cross pattern. I tightend the bolts a little at a time, going over each bolt 3 times total. I first tighted until I was creating contact with each bolt to the pan. Then I went back over each bolt slightly snugging the oil pan to the enigine. Then a final torque I tightend until I felt some resistance in the ratchet. These bolts don't need to be very tight to allow the gasket to seal. You are better off needing to maybe go back and tighten them more if it is leaking. Than to overtighten and damage the gasket. If you have a torque wrench, and torque specs that would be ideal. I have drove about 700 miles and the gasket has sealed well with no leaking what so ever.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect fit for 2005 G35 Coupe. No more dealing with messy and curing time for RTV. Just don't overtighten the ten 10mm bolts. Snug fit is good enough. Tighten more if leaks.

fit my 14 qx60 perfectly, just use this no rtv required. no leaks fit great. i used a new oil pan so that helps
