He generally likes to watch it in bed by holding it in his hands. The problem was that if he fell asleep, it would drop on the floor.This is ideal for him. The stand is stronger than you think. It has a metal hinge surround by a plastic casing and is quite stiff to move, this proves it won’t keep collapsing and clicks into the frame when not in use.It can be used in both horizontal and vertical positions but the vertical position is straight up, it can’t be slanted at all, but would be good on a table / desk etc.Although it doesn’t come with a screen protector, if it was dropped the rubber casing would prevent it from making contact with the floor.The flap is approximately W25cm x H9.8cm and can be moved 180o.My husband is delighted with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy case *by A***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 8 February 2020* I have two iPads and each of my family members have at least an iPad each. If I were to drop this iPad case then it would not break, the corners of thos case would definitely stand up to abuse.There is a stand on the case which can be adjusted to whatever viewing angle that you like, plus ot doesn’t flop down or fall over.
