Strong, Great Quality and Price
I have been very happy with this product. It is durable and well made, yet not too heavy for me. I chose this one because it is several pounds lighter than the Drive stainless model. I purchased this item after breaking my ankle. I was to the "walk with help" stage of recovery. Soon I will be out of that stage and walking without it - I hope! My brother, who has stage 4 cancer is becoming weaker and will need walking support so I will be passing this to him. It is strong enough to support his almost 200 pound weight and the adjustable height will easily fit his 6' frame. The walker easily folds to throw in the back of the car or take on the plane - which I have done. I would recommend getting a cup holder when you order this. The basket is useful for carrying food to the table, etc., but not so much for an open cup or cup with a lid. If you live alone that matters! Buying is cheaper than renting these products if your insurance doesn't cover - mine did not. I wish I had purchased the scooter I used before this as it would have been half the cost of rental. I had to pay three months because I need it a little over the 2 months. That was over $300. The same model is on Amazon for just over $100. Check you options and insurance before renting.

Drive Walker Improves Mobility
I love this walker. It's very sturdy and lighter than the previous driver walker I had. I also like that the handle can extend to a higher level so I can stand up straighter when walking. The 14 pound weight is much more manageable than my previous Drive walker.

Excellent Aluminum Lightweight Rollator Walker. Very good purchase. Highly recommended.
The Drive Medical Aluminum Rollator Walker was definitely a wonderful purchase. I purchased it for an elderly parent. The rollator is aluminum and lightweight which makes carrying it and using it very easy. It folds up very well. The larger wheels make maneuvering it very easy. The two rear wheels rotate 360 degrees. The wheels are 7.5" which is a large size. When the individual gets tired, they can stop, lock the wheels with the two brakes on the handles, turn around and sit down and rest as long as they would like. With the brakes on and the individual sitting on the seat pad, the rollator does not move. There are locking brakes on the handles. You push down to lock them. They unlock easily by pushing them back up. The padded seat is okay. It would have been nicer if the seat was more padded or contour padded. You can store things by lifting up the seat pad. The sea pad is hinged and does no remove. The unit comes fully installed and completely folded in a box. The quality of the rollator is very good. Drive Medical is a trusted brand of hospitals and nursing homes. This is a must for the elderly parent. Amazon sells these at a good price. I definitely recommend the Drive Medical Aluminum Rollator Walker. The rollator weighs abut 14 pounds. It folds easily, is lightweight and easily fits in the car. You can add a Drive Medical cup-holder as a drink holder for a water bottle. Drive Medical Universal Cup Holder

Oops. Still figuring out things about this walker. Better than I first thought!
I apparently failed to notice some things during assembling the walker in poor lighting and perhaps suffering from lack of sleep..I didn't see the holes in the handle shaft and mistakenly thought the only way to clamp them in place was to install the knobbed screws from the inside, in which position they make it impossible for anybody larger than a small child to use the seat. Considering this unworkable I discarded the screws. The photograph on the Amazon website clearly shows that the knob faces outward, not inward. Under high magnification it is possible to see that there are holes in the shaft to allow adjustment for height. Apparently the screws are intended to be installed with knob outward, pass through holes in the shaft of the handle bar, and mate with the the threads on the other side of the frame tube. I can't recall if this was clearly described in the instruction (which are gone now, like the screws). I guess I need to go to the hardware store to pick up replacement screws or else order replacements from Drive. One feature I am pretty sure was not mentioned in the instructions is the strap inside the under-seat compartment which serves to help fold and lift the walker when you pull it upward. I mistakenly thought thought the only way to fold the walker was to lay it on it's side and collapse it that way. I am not fond of the flanges on the hand grips because they keep from closing my fingers easily to grip the handle firmly. There is a considerable difference in the online description of the weight of the red and blue models. I picked up the blue model while on my bathroom scale and my indicated wight rose by 14.4 pound (the online description says it weighs 14 pounds). I assume the red version weighs the same unless it is made from much thinner gauge tubing which seems unlikely.

it is inexpensive and EASY to add foot supports to this walker
12/8/19 update: a friend of mine who is 81 and has always been very active has recently been injured. I took this walker over for her to use. when I mentioned that it could double as a chair for her if she was someplace and needed to sit down, she said no,. she said it wouldn't work, because her feet didn't touch the ground, so she couldn't use the chaur to sit on. I looked for accessories for this walker and found none to support the feet. So, using the search term 'foot hammock', I found what you can see in the second picture. There are a group of items that people can buy to sit more comfortably on a plane. these products also work for this Drive walker that has a wide hook underneath each handle grip. I purchased two models: one that didn't work satisfactorily was just a single pad to place both feet on, and it was very uncomfortable for her. But you can see in the picture that the second model i purchased has individual foot cradles, and you can't see it but there's a long strip in between them that hangs between the hooks under the walker handle-grips. the storage space where the seat lifts up fits a thick jelly-like seat pad, which we move forward so that it hangs a couple of inches past the front of the seat. this puts the pad between the edge of the seat and her legs, which prevents the seat from digging into her legs as her feet dangle comfortably down without putting any (detectable) pressure whatsoever on her back. the little stirrup foot hammocks roll up and sit on top of the jelly seat pad, ready to pull out and use whenever she needs them. the stirrups have a connecting belt between them at the bottom, but we don't like it, and leave them disconnected so she has the freedom of movement offered when the cradles dangle separately. her seat equipment is with her all the time, and this walker now CAN double as a seat because her feet have support in the space of a moment. the foot cradle hammock product that worked for her, that you can see in the picture, is: GIMSUN Airplane Footrest Travel Foot Hammock for Flight Bus Train Office Home-Plus 1×Sleep Mask, 1× Foot Rest Flight: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZJZVVZ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. you can easily adjust the straps to whatever length is needed. i was so pleased with the result that i wanted to post it with pictures, even though they aren't very clear. original review: initially, i purchased this for my mom in late 2013 when her heart went out, to use when she got home from the hospital and rehab center, but she refused to use it. it wasn't because anything was wrong with it, she simply refused to use a walker. but i always liked it and have kept it around just in case it is ever needed. then a couple of weeks ago, while practicing a cranial-neural energy-healing modality on a friend, i really needed a taller chair and thought of this walker. i tried it, and it turned out to be a perfect height while seated to position me about 18 inches higher than the head, and my arms can actually rest on the handles of the walker, making long cranial holds much easier! the big rollers make it highly maneuverable and easy to reposition while seated. i can personally attest to the fact that the seat on this walker really works and is comfortable.

Great choice
I ordered this for my husband who is suffering from cancer. It is a perfect choice for him because it holds weight up to 300pounds. It was easy to assemble and did not need a lot. I am legally blind and found it easy to adjust the handles to fit his height and add the bar in the back. It is not complicated at all. I like the seat and it is easy to fold up by pulling up on the strap under the seat/ it is not too heavy for me to life and fold up to put in the trunk of a car. It feels sturdy and has a good brake system, it is easy to use and gives my custom more confidence in walking without losing his balance. This was reasonable priced and was s great purchase for our needs. We bought the blue color which is very attractive too.

Better than expected
Due to knee surgery, I needed a walker. Based on reviews this was perfect for me and my budget. While most reviews are 5 stars, I was worried about some of the bad reviews, but after receiving the walker didn’t find any issues. Below were some of my concerns based on customer reviews. The break cables sticking out and getting caught on things. Found that if you run the break cables on the inside of the handles when you assemble it they didn’t stick out as can be seen in attached photo. The height of the handles and weight capacity was another concern. Being 5’11” I thought I would need to raise the handles all the way to the top, but that was not the case and still had two holes left over. As for the walker handling the weight, found no issues with it handling my weight of 205lbs. The height of the seat was another issue mentioned in other reviews, but I found that the height of the seat made it easy for me to stand up from. I can see how shorter people will find the seat to be too high for them. If you’re a shorter person you might want to look at other walker’s with lower seats. The walker break handles unlike the ones on the Amazon product photos which show them being open loop, the walker received had a closed loop break handle which I believe is better design. One of the things I liked about this walker is the handle tightening bolt that goes through the handle unlike others that just tighten around them. I also liked the zipper pouch under the seat. If you’re tall and want a high quality walker at an inexpensive price, look no further.

Es similar a la que usó mi madre. Ahora tiene partes mejoradas.
Me gustó que tiene la advertencia muy clara de que no se puede llevar a alguien sentado en la andadera.
