5pk 600mm Brown GRP Anti-Slip Decking Strips

It's not the cheapest, but i would say it does a great job. I went for self adhesive 'sandpaper', and it lasted a few days, as it slipped off the steps. This is VERY good, and easy to instal. Just screw into place. It is quite narrow, in depth, but this doesn't matter, as it is where you put your feet on the steps. I'm very happy walking on our wooden steps now, and am very happy for elderly relatives to come visiting... and don't feel like they will slip down the steps!

I built a simple wooden ramp to get a pram up a steep step. I added these non-slip strips for safety. For some reason I was expecting them to be aluminium (even though it doesn't say they are) but they are actually made of some kind of fibreglass resin composite - they smell like the fibreglass repair kits for car bumpers. They are well made and feel strong. The rough side is very rough and grippy (it would skin your knee if you fell on it). The holes are pre drilled and the kit is supplied with screws. The screws are self-countersinking and you do need to sink them into the strips a bit, which makes a little bit of white dust. I really like how the strips are available in different colours. I chose brown, and it looks a lot more homely than than the black ones you usually see in public.

Good product definitely stops you slipping but just too expensive

Bought these for a newly decked ramp in our side passage. These come with pre-drilled holes and screws so were put down in minutes on each decking board. They are super sturdy and the grip is coarse therefore no risk of slipping in the wet. They are perfectly flush with the decking boards no not a trip hazard. Great product and does the job. Highly recommend.

They’ve survived the winter ,no issues. Very grippy just where I needed it . Screws could do with being better quality, just make sure your bit is the correct one

The product was great but the delivery was very poor. Still not received an email saying they have been delivered. They were delivered on Friday but tracking said they had not been dispatched. very disappointing.
