I need my caffeine. Highly recommend for students/bar exam takers/attorneys. I bought this as a supplement for my coffee for the bar exam (and also used it during studying for the bar). I knew that I did not need any extra diuretic properties from coffee during the exam. This had less caffeine than my typical coffee, yet it made me more alert and able to focus than coffee. I assume it's a result of the L-Theanine. Seems to be high quality--friends who also had caffeine pills with twice as much caffeine reported that they felt more alert with this. Zero taste or smell, and relatively easy to swallow -- it is a relatively large soft gel. Now I keep them on hand for when I have to skip coffee for whatever reason or need an extra boost to get past the afternoon slump.

I work a 12-hour night shift, and I am trying to avoid others sources of caffeine or chemicals to keep me awake and alert at night. I decided to give these a try because they have 200 mg of caffeine and L-Arginine. This tablet is a little bit large but is coated well and is easy to swallow. It also does keep you up all night. I have used it a few times and I prefer to take it before work, it does not give me jitters or the dump that straight caffeine gives you. You. However, I have noticed, according to my sleep score, that when I use this product I do not get enough REM sleep. Sleep. That is not a good thing, so I use it for the first day or so at work and then I don't use it for the rest of the week. Unfortunately, I find that when I do use this product I have a hard time going to sleep when I get home. I'm not sure that this is such a good idea for regular to use, but for us work shift where I did not get enough sleep. I will use this but not regularly anymore. As REM sleep is very important!

I have never used caffeine with l-theanine before and I'll say i am a fan. I am so impressed, I will buy it again. Why? Energy/Alert without the candy "high" feeling. High quality! I will recommenddddddd

I absolutely love this product! It's the first thing I take in the morning. I'm not ready for a cup of coffee the first thing in the morning, I need a while to move around and do a few things as does my stomach. This supplement fits the bill. I've been using it now every morning for the past 4 months and it works great for me, sometimes I even wait until noon before I even have my coffee and I forgot to say, absolutely NO jitters at all for me with this product.

I really wanted to like this product from this brand, but it simply doesn't do anything. I don't feel any different. It was a waste of money for me. However, the brand Zhou's Energy + Focus Pills has been absolutely awesome. I feel the clarity, focus and gentle energy rise without any caffeine jitters with pills from Zhou.

Customer for life. Zero jitters and anxiety. Great ratio of theanine to caffeine. 100mg caffeine is my max anyways. Provides excellent boost all day with it being subtle enough to fall asleep easily if taken at a common sense time during the day.
