I ordered these after seeing tiny salt and pepper shakers at each place setting in someone else's home and thinking how thoughtful and elegant! I still think so--and guests seem to really appreciate this detail--but I've also realized that not having mealtime conversation interrupted with requests to pass the salt and pepper is nice too. These simple sets can be used on trays, dressed up or down--I haven't yet found an occasion for which they don't work. They're easy to refill--which is not always the case--and the funnel included is really helpful too. So far, they haven't tarnished, rusted, or required any special care. I'm really glad I bought them and think you would be too. Happy dining!

I'm in a group that holds a monthly potluck based around a particular cookbook (or theme) of the hosts choosing. At the last one, I noticed that some dishes could really have used more salt and/or pepper. We've been holding it at a clubhouse, and there were no salt and pepper shakers. I'm hosting the next one at the clubhouse, and I wanted to put some shakers on each table of 4-6 people. I wanted something inexpensive, but not cheap-looking. I also wanted something small, and at 2" tall, these are perfect for a once-every-other-month gathering. I didn't want something too big to lug around to each event. I'm going to pass these along for future hosts to use.

I didn't expect these to be so small. Although the title does say small. They are cute.

These salt and pepper (or other seasonings!) shakers are perfect for setting multiple tables at an event or party. They hold enough product so that people are not having to ask "Where's the salt?" My only discovery was that when you wash them, you will need to not only drain them, but make sure they are really dry on the inside. I finally used a blow dryer to air them out, and a bent cotton swab to soak up all the moisture left in the 8 corners of these little cubes - and be certain to dry out the tops so the seasoning doesn't clog the holes. I was very pleased with my purchase!!

Perfect little value salt and pepper shakers for my wedding tables! Put them in the center with the flowers and they fit in fine! Good quality but some of the lids didn’t screw on perfectly so I used some glue to keep them on after filling (since their only intended use was for the wedding I didn’t need to refill them)

Bring these out for Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners. Guests love having their own salt and pepper shakers and adds a quaint elegance to the dinner table. Perfect !
