These were the right parts for what I needed. They are still going strong and my son was able to easily install them for me. I was relieved.

Would have given this five stars, but for the packaging. These came in a bubble-wrap lined paper envelope. Somewhere along the line (maybe the deliver person leaving this on my doorstep?) these took a knock. So the plastic cap on one of the elements was cracked. Naturally, I discovered this while draining the water heater, so I was able to cover the cracked area with electrical tape, but more secure packaging would likely have avoided this. Otherwise, price was decent, installation was easy, and after more than 3 months (knock on wood) these are still working great.

Installed easy once I got the old ones out. Water has been running nice and hot for last couple weeks since the swap. Don't forget to pickup the special wrench that fits these. Consider replacing anode and pressure release value at the same time.

My husband was able to take our old heating units out and replace them with these and they work great! We have nearly unlimited hot water! It help to watch a u-tube video on how to take out the old ones and put in the new ones. Saved us a bunch of money. Thank you!

My water heater started to supply water that was not the normal temperature. After a little investigation, I determined that the lower heating element had failed. The product I bought here came with both upper and lower elements, (both the same for my water heater) so I replaced both. This minor repair saved me hundreds of dollars. If you decide to attempt this repair. be sure to turn off the power at the electrical panel and check with a volt meter before you start. This amperage can kill you dead, so be very careful, or call a plumber.
