Great product for healthy hair
Rainbow henna has been a staple coloring system; it does no harm and gives a healthy shine. I’ve used this product for decades with positive results. The best review is how natural my coloring appears without a dyed look which is nice and natural . It works well for me.

Doesn't cover grays, but blends really well!
If you have mostly gray, you might have to either get a much darker shade or be ok with copper hair instead of brown. That being said, as someone with roughly 25% gray, this is a great alternative to permanent dye. While it doesn't actually cover my gray, it blends them really well so it looks like natural highlights instead. The chestnut brown gives grays a deep copper hue, rather than brown. On hair that is still pigmented, the henna is very conditioning and adds a lovely richness. Made my neutral brown hair look very warm. The conditioning effect lasts through quite a few washes. Downside is that it can be difficult to saturate all hair, and if you have a lot of hair, expect to be making more than a couple batches. Great natural alternative to dyes!

Messy & Smelly but Cheap & Vibrant
Decided to try this after using a more expensive brand with better reviews, having meh results, and figuring this couldn't be any worse. I was pleasantly surprised with this stuff. I have long hair that ends about mid rib for me, though my hair is somewhat thin. I only needed half this jar, so this is a very affordable way to color my hair Unlike other reviewers I always follow the directions as they are on the package. I add hot water, stir, and apply and saran wrap. I don't put any additives or anything but I do plan on experimenting with them. The package says that it cannot dye facial hair (eyebrows, beards, eyelashes) bur I use it one my eyebrows with no problems. My eyebrows always come out a pretty vibrant red. A few things I've noticed with this brand: It doesn't stain my skin as much or as badly. I had a little orange skin around my scalp and eyebrows but it was very light and went away after 2 days(I did use petroleum jelly). The other brand had my skin orange for almost a week. The second is that it wasn't as drippy and runny, I did use the same amount of water, mixed it to a light pancake batter consistency. but with this I didn't have it dripping and running down the back of my neck constantly. Third thing: no wash out! The water and my shampoo bubbles turned a light orange the first time I washed after dying but after that I haven't had it wash out, run, or stain my towel I dry with. The color is pretty and vibrant, it came out a light coppery red color, and hasn't faded (it's only been 2 and a half weeks since I last dyed it) Will definitely buy again Pros: Easy to use, doesn't drip or run much Affordable, I only need half a tub for a dye Colors comes out vibrant and pretty Doesn't bleed, wash out, or run Didn't stain my skin much Cons: Smells funky like most henna Messy like most henna

More than giving color to hair it adds texture.
I am of Indian origin. My hair are straight, black-brown and thin. My need to use this product was to get my grey hair hide. But after using, I could say my purpose wasn't solved. It left very light orange color on my white hair( as shown closely in pic) which is almost equivalent to white. I did use coffee, black tea , mustard oild and curd in the pancake type consistency mixture and kept for 4 hours. Then took a normal water hair wash for same day and next morning did shampoo. Other things I would mention: 1. Delivered earlier. 2. Good packaging. 3. My hair are waist length. Quantity wise I could use it twice easily. 4. It leaves very light color on skin and hands which goes off in a wash.So don't worry. Not even in scalp. But would still suggest using vaseline. 5. Very less smell as compared to other hennas. And so is the less color also. 6. Easy to apply. 7. Overall it gave a brownish texture to my hair which were more visible downside rather than on my head. Shared a pic from back. 8. I felt my hair softer, lighter, each strand was separate and fluffy. Could say I felt positive improvement in texture. But nothing that could help me with my white hair which are still clearly visible.

Hair coloring
I have been using this product for years and happy with the results. I don't want to use chemical dyes and have no patience to sit at a beauty salon to have my hair dyed. This works for me.

Rating For Seller NOT Product
My container arrived opened; there was NO SEAL (other than the screw on top). The Henna powder spilled out all over the inside of my package. I still decided to keep it and use it, because I was not sure if it should have been sealed (first time ordering this item). After about 4 tries, I get almost zero color. I am assuming this is due to the fact that the Henna was not sealed and may have been expired. I do not know how the actual product works when sealed properly, so please don't use this review to judge the product. This review is just on the item that I received from this particular seller.
