Hybrid Misfit (The Misfits Book 1)

What a HEA she got! WOW! Love this story - as with all of Eve's books - I'm not disappointed :) The story starts off a little confusing when we're trying to learn what happened to Beth. When she was a child, she was brought to a government testing faculty.. but it was their humanity that was being tested on. They were shot up with the DNA of demons, angels, and other types of strange creatures. most of the people died in these experiments, some of them changed, and those that changed wished for death. Until the Vampires got tired of the tests and being told what to do and attacked the scientists. Beth ran as soon as she could get away from the compound, and she didn't look back. Beth Ran and ran and ran some more, until she realized she needed a home, and a job in order to survive. There was one thing she was good at, and it helped her succubus side. She became a stripper of course :) And because she was so good at it, she was able to get a job in the high class club. She met 2 others like herself, one was a warebunny, and the other was a siren. Only these two were different, just like she was. And they became friends fast. One night while Beth (aka Trixie is her stage name) she was on stage dancing, eating up the sexual energy that the males produced as they watched her, she noticed a couple of vampires walk in. Not just any vampires, these were her brothers. The ones from the government faculty. The half vampires, half humans. One would think they would be closer and friendly towards each other, but after the time they tied her up and raped her and drank from her, she knew seeing them now was a bad idea. After her set, she snuck out the back door, only to be jumped by the vampires. And they brought friends. Fighting was like a second nature to Beth, and she was able to hold her own. but the Vampires faught dirty, and shot her with a tranquilizer, just as Beth was going down, she looked up and saw green eyes glowing at her. attached to those eyes was a very large body, and that body was fighting the vampires. When she woke up in a really nice WHITE Fluffy bed, she knew she wasn't in Kansas anymore - She saw a behemoth, a handsome one, but still a freakin beast of a man. - Time to meat Simon - Ahh Simon! I won't give away what he is, because they don't tell you until somewhere in the middle of the book. the fun part is trying to figure it out with Beth :) But he is a huge man, and a beautiful man with white hair tinged with the blue of an iceberg. and he was HOT! Beth wasn't sure if she could trust this man, but he knew what she was, right away, and that scared her. Not only did he know WHAT she was, but her Succubus appeal didn't work on him! As they ate their food quietly observing each other, Beth noticed an intruder behind him. She jumped back and threw a warning at him. But he just stood there. "I smell something yummy," said a new masculine voice from right behind her ear. She would have shrieked, but the newcomer spun and plastered his big lips to hers... and to her surprised, she enjoyed it :) And that's how we meet Gene - Gene is a Genie - and yes, he has his own bottle :) Simon and Gene are two different guys, but their best friends and stronger than anything. They have done just about everything together... except each other - but they've done a lot of tag teaming the ladies. But they both knew that Beth would be the only one they will want from now on.. The bond/mating/connection between these three isn't quiet like the rest of Eve's books - there are not mating bonds that tie them together, they just know fate says they are to be together. and none of them are willing to fight that. Beth is a very STRONG young woman. at age 21, she has lived a very HARD life. and she doesn't put up with a lot of crap. She's also a Sucubus and she's use to guys drooling over her, but the way Gene advances at her is completely different then the guys under her spell. And she likes it. Simon is a very mellow guy. He's huge, and strong and very patient. When word gets out that there is a nephilim out there with demon and angel blood, everyone wants to kill her. And that just wasn't going to happen on Simon and Gene's watch. I really enjoyed this book - the humor Beth had was funny and the innuendo from Gene were even better :) I hope Eve has more books with Simon in them, or the likes of him. I would love to see him in battle form again :)

This was a different storyline that what I normally read. It was good but it was missing something. Not sure what. I will reread it . It was that good. Beth was experimented on and escaped. She's on the run from not the scientist but from her "brothers" from the institution she was held in. There is a prophecy. Some believe it, some don't. She is unique. Easy to read. Her nature makes her want/need emotions/sex to live . Along with regular food. Loved the "boys" I was trying to guess what Simon was. I was right ,just not accurate in what type. Loved Gene, he was the comic relief and a charmer. The book had humor which was great, along with drama and of course romance. I would recommend the book.

Okay, so it's the alley behind the bar, but still starts a fun story! Beth is more than just a Succubus though, and hiding in plain sight has been working for her for a while. Until her brothers come looking for her and are forced to deal with her new friends. I love the speed of this story, and the way the action moves from one exciting thing to the next, and never loses my interest! Beth and her roommates are a small band of misfit sisters, and their relationships are just as special as the one between Beth and her men. The action scenes in this story are epic level good, I read the story and just recently bought the audio version of the trilogy and that made it just that much better!

Humans transformed into paranormal hybrids. Well written and loveable, sexy characters. Finding trustworthy people, allies and love. Good start to the series. No cliffhanger and hea.

THIS BOOK WAS A REREAD:: Then (July 2011): 3 out of 5 stars | Now (March 2013): 3.5 out of 5 stars!! Beth, Simon, and Gene are a match mate in ... well not heaven but definitely in limbo! =0) This novel was spicy, thrilling, and funny the whole way through. I liked the mystery (at first) about learning Simon's nature. Then reading about Beth's "girl power" tendencies made you cheer for her throughout the novel. In addition, I enjoyed learning Gene's mystic ways and flirtatious personality! Very entertaining! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys quirky paranormal erotic romances! Review By: From Me to You ... I have reread this book so many times yet it's enjoyment hasn't changed to me that says a lot about how well it was written by EVE. I thought I'd already written a review but found I hadn't so I'm correcting that oversight. Absolutely everything to Love about this book,plenty of humor,drama,wonderful characters,Creative storyline and steamy scenes what more could you ask for. Absolutely recommend you have this book in your own library!!😍

This is a fun paranormal book, but it didn't really strike me as romantic. I guess because the two heroes seemed bigger than life and really into each other. I really did like the heroine, though. She has powers, and found a way to use them to get what she needed without harming others. I love her female friends, too. The dialogue is good. The Djinn and his sort of polar bear friend were a lot harder to relate to. But, if you are looking for a fun, quirky read with some well-written sexy-times, I recommend this book.

So a person who fits nowhere .. A war that is coming... A love for 2 men... She is strong, independent and not bitchy. She is the perfect h. Sex - steamy hot build-up - great went into a lot of detail Storyline - fast passed... She is something that shouldn't exist. She is also an amazing person. They are in love/lust with her. And it has humor thrown in as a bonus. I love Eve's books.

Hybrid Misfit handelt von einer jungen Frau, die ,erst unheilbar krank, durch Wissenschaftler eine "zweite" Chance bekommt, in dem sie behandelt wird und teilweise Engel- und Vampirblut bekommt. Sie ist einzigartig, aber gejagt, begehrt, geliebt... Eigentlich mag ich gar nicht so viel davon erzählen, denn in dem Buch kommen interessante Figuren vor und ich hoffe, dass die Autorin vielleicht bald mal eine Fortsetzung davon schreibt. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der nicht unbedingt wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse erhofft, Spaß an etwas Neuem hat, der Sex, Abenteuer, Phantasie mag und einfach eine Zeit "abtauchen" will.

Unique yet a totally great story. Hot stuff for sure but loved the characters and concept. Can’t wait to read more in the series.

I loved the plot for this book! Beth's origin story is heartbreaking but fascinating, and really shapes her unique character. I loved the little thoughts she had about her parents throughout the book, it was a nice touch. Gene and Simon were great characters with lots of humour and support for Beth, while not losing their own personalities. My only gripe with the book is that the battles felt a little too quick. But they were still super exciting so it's a really minor gripe. Now I'm excited to read about Lana next!

The romance in this book was a sweet result of a coincidental meeting, despite the menage and the steam (so much steam). The victim of a bunch of Dr. Moreau-wannabes finds herself learning more about herself that she ever expected, with enemies she did not provoke and allies she wants to be more than just allies. I really enjoyed how Beth took the bigotry against her and used it to create her new identity. Way to handle the hate, girlfriend!
