Works great on artificial turf for eliminating smells from pets easy to use

Works really well for fake turf.

This product effectively eliminated the urine odor emitting from my artificial turf. I have three large dogs, one of whom is sick and urinates every 20-30 minutes due to medications. After a month of this, my backyard and turf smelled so bad that the odor was creeping into the house. I used this product as directed, attached to my garden hose, in the evening (after the heat of the day - it gets up over 100 degrees where I live). I used maybe half the bottle for a 32' x 20' area, focusing more on the part of the yard where the dogs urinate. I haven't had to spray it again since, and it's been a few weeks. No longer do my house and yard reek like a dog urinal. For comparison, I tried Simple Green at the recommendation of other reviewers. It sorta worked for a day or two. But it did not hold a candle to this. The inefficacy of SG destroys any perceived cost savings on the upfront investment in the product. PE-51 is well worth it the higher initial cost. *FYI: I live in a very dry area. We haven't had any rain since I sprayed this. And the temperatures routinely exceed 100 degrees. I used this exclusively on PetZen artificial turf which is laid directly onto the clay soil. Not sure if any of this impacts how effectively the product worked, but there it is. **Final note: customer service from the company that makes and sells this product was very, very good. From what I understand, it's a small business, owner-operated. My first order didn't arrive (UPS screw-up, they said delivered but in the wrong city) and I contacted the business owner who graciously re-shipped my order at no charge to me. Combined with how effective the product is, I'd spend the money to buy this again in a heartbeat.

Smells good but does not eliminate urine odor. Get KOE instead

The only spray that works

Our 3 dogs have been using the turf as a bathroom for over a year. It took us several applications of the product to get the smell to go, and it got worse before it got better, but it did ultimately go away. I called their customer service during this process to see if this was normal for the smell to get worse before getting better and they said this was very normal since enzymes are designed to bring the stink from the bottom to the top. They encouraged me not to give up and that the smell would go away even with the amount of pee that was on the Turf. They were right! My yard has not smelt this good in over a year. I highly recommend PE-51 for even the toughest smells.
