Excellent. Works well. Pleasant smell. Not greasy.
I own a stainless steel scraper. This is THE massage cream my DPT uses. I was using coconut oil at home but it didn’t work very well. Tried lotion also which didn’t work either. This is an excellent product. As I mentioned above, it is the one my physical therapist uses. It is not greasy and has a pleasant smell. I did not want to spend the money on this but am very happy I did. A tiny bit goes a long way! Would be helpful for massage too. What is scraping? It’s something my physical therapist does that helps with fascial restriction, scar tissue, adhesions and helps loosen trigger points. I wouldn’t have tried scraping on my own. I was taught how to do it by a professional. Note: some people refer to PT scrapers as a Gua Sha Muscle Scraping Tool or Scar Tissue Tool.

Perfect for massages
I love this massage cream so much! My sweet husband uses it to give me feet and leg massages after a long day and it's perfect. A little goes a long way and it doesn't leave your skin super greasy at all. I also love that it doesn't have a scent! We've repurchased 4 times!

Gritty texture, quality issue but great customer service
Updating review due to the excellent customer service from HawkGrips. They reached out and provided a new product. This one came with a safety seal, had a smooth texture and a batch code. It's like a totally different product. Thank you, HawkGrips! Original review: Product is gritty. The formula either was not mixed properly during manufacturing or it heated and separated during shipping. My physical therapist uses it on me and the texture of the product in her jar is different. I have to rinse off the gritty, sandy feeling after using this.

Unscented emollient lives up to its claim
This cream is perfect as a lubricant for a massage. The “almost” solid base emollient breaks down quickly with light friction when applied to the skin and spreads smoothly so that it lubricates the body well without becoming excessively oily. This provides a warm, smooth massage that fully relaxes the muscles while giving the necessary depth and heat for comfort. The unscented factor is a definite plus for people who cannot tolerate any aromas.

Effective but not sticky
After having this done on a scar by a therapist, I use this with gua sha stones for muscle knots, scars, or tight areas. The cream is unscented but absorbs in the skin without leaving a sticky residue. A little bit goes a long way and after months I'm still not done with this container.

Favorite IASTM emollient
I appreciate how this emollient enhances my IASTM sessions. It works great with my tools and is incredibly smooth for gliding, making treatments effective and comfortable. Plus, it’s long-lasting so I’m not constantly reapplying. It is also my preferred emollient for massage therapy.

Lid was loose. Product not sealed. Product was all over the outside of the container and inside the packaging. Should have returned it. Very unimpressed.
