I just had my kitchen and bathroom overhauled, with all new cabinets and countertops. The last thing I want is for the cabinets to get ruined, since there's no good way to fix or replace them without undoing all the stonework. I've ruined a bathroom cabinet before when there was a leak from the drain, so I might be a little bit paranoid about it now. I noticed that there were other sellers of these mats for cheaper, but the mats looked a bit on the flimsy side. A lot of the reviews for those mats generally confirmed that. I wasn't thrilled to spend twice as much on an under-sink mat, but figured it's probably worth the investment to save my cabinets. After receiving these mats and fitting them under my sinks, I know I made the right choice. These mats have ridges at different measuring points. They make a really neat template for cutting the mat to fit your sink size, and they also ensure that you're going to have that dam to hold back water if a leak develops under the sink. (Some of the other brands I saw had just one ridge around the outer edge, so if you have to trim it at all, you lose that water retaining function.) I trimmed just outside the appropriate ridge and the mat slid into place and fit perfectly in my cabinet. My kitchen sink cabinet is 30" wide. I trimmed the 34" kitchen mat to the 28 1/4" line, which is the largest one that would fit without going over. It ended up just a bit shy of the cabinet size from left to right (maybe 1/4" on each side?), but I'm not worried about that because the sink isn't at the edges, it's in the middle. It would be almost impossible for me to spill anything that far over. The bathroom one I was nervous about because my cabinet is about 18.5" deep, not the full 19" (it has a face frame and the doors are inset into it). No worries: I trimmed off the furthest back ridge (at the 18 9/16" mark) and it fit perfectly. The mat is a heavy silicone-rubber-like material which is very grabby. It was a little difficult to slip it into place, but once it's there, it's not going to scoot around if you're moving around bottles or whatever under the sink later. These are really high-quality mats, and I'm sure they're going to protect my sink cabinets for as long as I have them.

We just experienced a leaking garbage disposal, which is why I purchased this mat. The light weight covering we had under the sink did not do well and did not offer much protection. The saving grace was that I had some plastic bins under the sink and most of my items in plastic sealed bags (in the bins). We ended up accumulating a lot of water in a short time. This mat fits well, it is 34 1/4 X 22 1/2. It is a nice substantial mat and has a1/2 inch lip around the mat. It is not flimsey, thin or super floppy. Hovever, if you have a leak and a lot of water ends up on the mat, you will need to take the water off before you lift the mat. The mat does go down easily and is heavy enough. My husband had to cut the mat due to a copper pipe coming up from the floor, under the sink. He reports it cut easly with scissors. I chose WeatherTech as I have their mats in my car. I appreciate that though this undersink mat does cost more than other mats, it is well worth the cost.

Pricey, but a perfect fit in my application. I’ve purchased cheaper alternatives in the past, but the material quality improvement is noticeable. Happy with purchase.

I have been wanting one of these for a while. Once we remodeled our kitchen it was a must. It fit perfectly. I’ve had my dishwasher and the p-trap under the sink leak before so this is wonderful in keeping any water damage to a minimum! Can’t wait to order the mats for my new car!

My water connections come up from the floor, not from the wall. I took a chance that this might work anyway. We measured carefully and cut the mat to meet the connections from the floor, used a water proof tape to seal the cuts and it works beautifully. It was easy to cut and looks great.

The melamine-covered particle board under my kitchen sink had just gotten too wet over the years and was looking tired. I was looking for a waterproof solution for that area without tearing out the wood. I was delighted to find a great product made in the USA that I could modify for a perfect fit. WeatherTech makes floor mats for cars, so I thought this product would be ideal. The SinkMat arrived promptly and I was able to easily cut it to fit. I wish I had bought this years ago.

Great American made product. The custom floor mats are top quality as well. I used a part of the packing to make a template before cutting a hole in the mat for the sink drain. It was easy to cut and fit wonderfully. It will save your unprotected bottom panel.

Weather Tech produces quality items. The sink mat was easy to cut to fit around the piping and I’m very happy with this mat.

I have had two pipes leak and needed something to catch the water incase it happens again. I believe this will do the trick. Very high quality, did not have a rubber odour, which I assumed it would. Fit perfectly under my cupboard without cutting. Lies flat. As you can see, even with all the stuff I have on it, it fit. Some people complained about the ridges, which are there for various pipe configurations. I found no problem storing stuff on them. Great purchase, even recommended to a friend.

Just as expected. Thought it was expensive, but when we saw how it retained shape and was heavy duty as opposed to our old silicone mat, it felt worth it. Although it is a bathroom under sink mat, we used it as a shoe tray under some cubbies. We easily cut it with scissors to customize the size. Color is an elegant light brown. Dust sticks to it, as the surface feels similar to silicone, but its smooth surface can be easily cleaned. Would buy again.

This mat is worth every penny. It is easily amended to fit any standard size sink cupboard. The bottom of our cupboard had suffered a slow leak that had partly eroded a small area of the chipboard, and instead of having to replace or line the area with 1/4" plywood, we bought this mat. We are pleased with how perfectly it fits after cutting it down with kitchen shears to the middle size. It is easily cleaned, and we recommend it highly.
