Anything For You (The Connor Family) - Kindle edition by Hagen, Layla. Contemporary Romance Kindle eBooks @ desertcart.com. Review: Landon and Maddie's Story - Landon is the CEO of a payment solution company. He just negotiated with an investor and everyone was celebrating. He decided to celebrate with his family in LA. His twin, Val, and him raised their brothers and sisters after their parents died in an accident. When he arrived at his sister's house, Maddie, an architect in landscaping, was working on her front lawn. Maddie was in LA after following an ex and decided to stay. Landon is suppose to stay only two weeks, but when Val has an accident he extends his stay. Meanwhile the investor is trying to buy his company which only put more stress on him. Between helping his sister and trying to figure out what to do about his investor, Maddie and Landon strike up a relationship. The book is good and I did enjoy reading it. Review: Great start to a new series - I really, really loved this story. Neither Maddie, or Landon were looking for love when they first met, but the strong undeniable chemistry between these two, was just too strong to deny. I loved the depth of all of the characters in this story. And the Friday night dinners with the Conner's were filled with nosy sibling antics, and laugh out loud scenarios than you can shake a stick at. lol! I also love the close sisterly bond between Grace and Maddie. My only complaint was the number of excessive explicit sex scenes. I don't mind one or two, or maybe even three, but the amount of sex scenes in this story- IMO- was way over the top. Just give me a little bit more meaningful story line over the sex scenes, anytime.

Anything For You is a Must Read
Anything For You was the first book that I read by Layla Hagen and I loved it. It was free on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Anything For You is the first story in The Connor Family Series. I loved the story and the characters. I really enjoyed how the book is written in the first person and that the chapters are written from Maddie and Landon's perspective. Who doesn't love big families and romance. Anything for You is the story of Maddie Jennings, a landscape architect and Landon Connor, entrepreneur. Landon is CEO of DBC Systems, and decides to take a much needed two week vacation and head home to L.A. to visit with his three sisters and two brothers. Landon has just completed partnership negotiations and feels now is a good time to take some much needed time off. He hasn't taken off more than long weekends, since he wife Rachel died four years ago. Landon arrives at his twin sister, Val's house to discover Maddie. She is waiting on a delivery of timber poles that she will need to terrace Val's yard. Landon helps Maddie with the poles even though Maddie insists she can do it on her own and that he is on vacation. Sparks fly between them and they become romantically involved, even though Maddie and Landon both vowed to not love again. Maddie because of a broken engagement and Landon because of the death of his wife. Love the plot twist, that helps Landon decides what is important in life. It was an outstanding story and Layla Hagen is an amazing storyteller. So looking forward to reading the remaining books in The Connor Family series and probably will read The Bennett Family series also. Who doesn't love happily ever afters.

Fun & Flirty, but not Epic! But did I mention fun?
3.5 'Learn to Love Again' STARS Tailored suit meets smart and sexy garden lady. Maddie may have had the green thumb, but Landon was the one doing all the plowing. Landon is your typical hotshot CEO, a commanding presence in and outside of the office. He shows as much commitment and attention to the nine-to-five as the woman he chooses to share bed with. Landon is very hands-on... & workin' out business deals isn't the only thing he does with his mouth. Of course he's deliciously sexy in a tailored suit and pleasantly stubborn without being a complete arrogant piece of work. In the romance book realm I can appreciate the balance. He comes from a big and loud family that really defines the man he is... Landon isn't a stranger to tragedy, losing his parents at a young age, and his amazing wife—Landon understands the importance of family and what it means to make sacrifices. He's not afraid to step up and do the right thing, but he's not so inclined to let anyone help him—hence the stubbornness. Maddie is equally stubborn, sexy in a pair of sneakers or a simple dress, either way she's down-right feisty. Like Landon, Maddie values family. She's also not afraid of getting dirty in the name of hardwork. Landon prefers the office, Maddie loves the outdoors. Life threw Maddie an ex-curve ball, but she's resilient and incredibly motivated to do life her way. She finds herself easily swayed be the sexy CEO in a tailored suit. Landon proves to be very persuasive with his mouth. They are instantly drawn to each other. It's fun, it's flirty and downright fluffy. Plenty of Damsel and distress moments to make your heart flutter and tension to make you blush. So why not 5 stars? *sigh* I value the cat n' mouse game The good old fashion push or pull. I'm not all about that instant gratification of insta-love, so to speak. I wasn't in love with Maddie and Landon and they were already ridiculously in love with their perfect relationship. If you love insta-love, *nothing wrong with that* you will love Landon and Maddie's story. The plot was meh...well, there really wasn't one. It was really a mad dash to the big bang. I could think of worst book goals, but I digress. There was little to no conflict, and I like me some drama. Again, really comes down to personal preference. Everything was fluffy n' perfect. Landon was thee perfect man. A good listener, caring, cocky without being a complete douchebag & I absolutely hated him for it...just kidding although God forbid he have a single undesirable flaw. Maddie's perspective seemed to be less important than Landon. Her backstory was also kind of a question mark. At times the family dialogue was a bit of a headache. Overall the book was dialogue driven, funny at times and wonderfully heartfelt, but also hard to envision. In a nutshell, the plot, the pace, the characters, all took a backseat to the mind blowing sex. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you set out to read...There were some seriously steamy sexy time scenes delivered in this book, and quite beautifully... but I was disappointed that the same attention to those scenes didn't carry out in other areas of the story. Landon and Maddie's journey was cute, full of sexual tension and all things flirty but it wasn't an epic love story. That doesn't mean it wasn't a fun read, it just could've been so much more.

You will love all of Layla’s characters in the large Connor family. Humorous family moments will find you smiling, but the love story that builds between Connor and Maddie will make it hard for you to put it down. This is the first book I have read from this author, but I look forward to reading many more.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars then I would. I don't normally write reviews on book but this one is an exception. I nearly cried at the end because I didn't want it to end at all. I haven't found a book that's kept me this interested in a long long time - I was even thinking about it at work and couldn't wait to get home to read some more. It is well worth the read and look forward to reading more about the Connor family, I just hope they are as good as this one 🤞🏼 Please get this book it is more than worth it!

I loved the Bennett family, and after reading this, I know I am going to love the Connor family. Landon and Maddie's story helped to introduce the Connor siblings, who are cousins of the Bennett family from the previous series written by this author. I am a huge fan of the way this author writes her stories. Anytime I pick up one of her books, I know I am going to have a great read filled with awesome interactions between not only the main characters but the whole set of characters, a wonderful story line that doesn't involve a massive amount of angst, and characters who win your heart so much you don't want the book or series to end.

Nice plot idea - big CEO finishes a huge takeover and decides to actually take leave for a fortnight, going home to visit his siblings; there he meets landscape designer, and the rest is sort of history. Of course there are obstacles to overcome. The female protagonist loses every brain cell whenever she sees him, thinks of him, thinks of sex, whereas he is not quite as obvious. I hate stuff like that, sorry. Add to that the fact that half the book consists of thinking, doing, contemplating etc. sex between the two protagonists, and the book gets a bit boring (yes boring, sorry.) with the constant repetitions, while the actual story plot is dragging itself forward page by page by page. Pity as the author has a good fluent narration style, and in my opinion, this book could have been so much more. And luckily, this is just the personal opinion/taste of one individual, and doesn't really say anything about the quality of the book.

A brand new series by Layla has once again captured my heart! Landon is need of a vacation so he goes to LA to spend time with his family, and in the middle of his family is Maddie Jennings. Maddie is working on his sister’s garden and hello the sparks fly! I love the rain scene and how she’s so stubborn about saving parts of the garden when there is literally a storm on her head. She’s feisty and stubborn and definitely a match for Landon too. The one thing that I love about Layla’s writing is that she brings out the best in the family area. She makes me wish my family was the same. I love their connection and I love their closeness with each other. Landon and Maddie are so perfectly matched and I loved reading their journey. Another amazing start to a brand new series! 4 stars
