At PENN, we've been testing the limits of saltwater fishing since 1932, which is why our reputation for durability runs so deep. PENN. LET THE BATTLE BEGIN.

Review: Amazing! - Bought the pole and put the PENN fathom star reel. Amazing strength! Feels good in hand. Best rod I've used by far! I use to buy abu Garcia product but they kept breaking. Switched over to PENN not a single reel or rod has broken! "Got snagged at the bottom pulled up a tire I would say maybe 30 pounds full of mud and water!"
Review: Strong and versatile - I walk docks jigging for bass. I love the pole for its strength. I can't bend over so I use the pole to lift the fish onto the dock into my hand. Fit my needs perfectly.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What's the lure/jig weight for this rod?**
A: I use it for fishing for cats. I love it I use 150lb line with a two ounce lead wait but I fish with live bait any where between 2lb - 5lb. it might not be has helpful as you where hoping but I hope it helps.

**Q: I ordered a jig casting rampage instead of spin will there be any difference if i use a jig casting rod with a spin reel?**
A: Yes. The guides are smaller on the casting rod. Will effect the distance of casting with a spinning reel

**Q: Does this rod have a roller tip?**
A: No

**Q: what is the model number of this rod. the picture shows one rod that is casting the model number at the bottom is spinning rod model number.**
A: Any rod is a casting rod.
As for spin casting, any reel will work as long as the rod and reel are compatible.
