After Shave Lotion Original 150ml

After a fair amount of detective work I found this. I first used it in the 60's as it belonged to my grandfather. This is the real scent, no it is not watered down. I have all of my faculties and I am certain this is the scent of the original. There is a mine field of other choices that are not the real original Old Spice even though they claim to be. Do not buy anything that calls itself Classic. That is terrible. So glad I found this from this seller, Wiki Deals, through Amazon. Love this…as the other.. I totally agree. I grew up with my grandfather and dad using this. Bought for my husband and he fell in love with it. Over the years he has used it I noticed the flavor of th after shave started to change and give me head aches. With some time trying to get the original. It came in from Germany costs a little more but it worth it

Remember how spicy and intense Old Spice used to be? Remember your dad, gramps, or younger self smelled after a shave? This is it. This is the closest thing you will find to bring back those memories of an earlier time when Old Spice actually smelled like Old Spice instead of the watered down and less enthusiastic formula that is around nowadays. And it exists in India. And it is certainly worth the price and shipping time. Though be aware that any memory of the stuff smelling 'spicier' than you remembered just might be from some of the alcohol evaporating, making the base scent of Old Spice stronger. Nonetheless, this is some pretty special stuff and you should order a bottle if you want to smell as suave as your father, grandfather, or youthful self did in the past.

I hate when reviews focus on delivery and not the product, so I’ll separate this between the two. First off, the product. I know that the “classic” and “original” scents of Old Spice are supposed to be the same, but they’re just not. Not to my nose, at least. And not to my wife’s. I like them both, but I prefer the “original”, so I’m happy with the product. And while it certainly doesn’t matter, I also sorta like the fact that it comes in ceramic bottle, rather than the plastic. I know that doesn’t matter in the least, but I just like it better. Now for the delivery. This took 20 days to arrive, for some reason. Have no idea where it came from. When it got here, this thing was wrapped in so much bubble wrap that I needed a untility knife and about 5 minutes to open it. Then there was another layer of some sort of protective wrapping. Of course the bottle was in the product box after all the protective wrapping. This is appreciated, especially since it is a ceramic bottle, but it was all soaked. Obviously it had still leaked, and I feared the bottle had broken. I was wrong. The red lid that presses down into the bottle didn’t fit. It was if it was from another bottle all together. I have a couple other bottles of Old Spice (both “original” and “classic”), so checked their lids, and both fit nicely in this new bottle, so this lid obviously didn’t originally come with it. I have no idea what happened here. Fortunately, very little product was lost, so it all turned out mostly ok. I’m using the lid, which sits down in there just enough to keep it from evaporating, but I need to be careful with it. No idea if that was a one-time situation, or that’s what to expect from a follow up purchase.

If you remember how your dad or grandpop smelled, this is the stuff! I enjoy the "Classic" version, but it is in plastic bottles and the formula was changed so as not to react with the plastic. This stuff is the ORIGINAL scent, in a GLASS bottle. Not quite as strong as in the past (which is actually a good thing. The stronger version could easily be over-applied and be WAY too strong!), but absolutely true to the scent, itself. Classier, manlier and all around better smelling than even the Classic version, I can whole-heartedly recommend Old Spice Original!

I have used Old Spice for 60+ years and enjoy the fragrance. However, I somehow sense that when Old Spice was acquired by another company some years ago, the original fragrance was altered somewhat.!?! That is my impression, and may to completely erroneous

my father used it .. my grandfather used it ... they are both gone now and i use it ... not only is it a great product but a subtle way to remember them.

Came in about half full. The rest leaked out inside inner box. Everything was soaked.
