The Traina Home Grown California Dried Whole Black Mission Figs are the best tasting and best priced figs we have found. We get a box (5 lbs) every couple months and stick them in the fridge for healthy snacking and they keep you regular. Our only reservation is that no two orders are the same as far as taste and texture, some are significantly more sweet and moist than others. Our last box was unexpectedly dryer than usual albeit still healthy and edible.

Fresh Whole Black Mission Figs!! They are still fresh from harvest when received so you may need to set out to dry for a couple more days depending on your preference.

Unfortunately, this product was terrible. The first one I bit into was a bit dry, so I tried another one. This second one was like biting into leather with sawdust inside. I bit into four more and they were all the same, dry and gross. I checked the date and it says good until 2021 yet this product does not reflect a quality, fresh, premium product whatsoever. I have had plenty of dried figs in my life and these were the worst. I do not recommend purchasing these. And the worst part is, I cannot figure out how to contact the seller so am laying it all out here so other customers do not make the same mistake! Ugh what a waste of my hard earned money .

Much different than Turkish (Smyrna) dried figs, these Mission figs are soft and quite moist (I refrigerated them). Don't expect fancy packaging...mine arrived in a blue, unsealed plastic bag. These are mighty tasty. Would recommend.

These have got a really good taste, but they really weren't extremely fresh.

Best mission figs I ever tasted

Pretty hard to chew. The moisture level was very low. The figs look like they were of good quality when dried. My only problem was they did not re-hydrate. I added water to cover and brought to a boil. Then covered them and set them aside...not many were soft enough to eat. I then took them and cut the stem ends off and chopped them into pieces, I then cooked them slowly for 4+ hours. Still they are not re-hydrated. My next move is to put them in the blender and see how that works. Fingers crossed!!! I love fig preserves, but without them getting softer, they just won't work. :-(.

I wanted to place an order again but it is ridiculous the price went up triple? Why? Too bad good product but too expensive
