Lovely book it was a gift and my friends was extremely pleased with it, the pictures are beautiful.

I bought this as a present, but am now wondering if I should have kept it. Crisp, well defined images. Informative text (certainly more than a coffee table book). Made me long to experience Islamic culture face to face.

Lovely photography and many locations. I love the way this book is ordered so well. So you follow through the dynasties and the eras. Also I enjoy that the fine arts are interspersed with the Archirecture. Very happy with this book and also the price.
