I really did not like the foot but replaced it with the regular tip and around the house it's much more stable for me. It's also reduced height by 1" which is perfect for my height. It's good to have that switch option. I think it came with that regular tip too so I good off the 4 prong one and put that single tip on and it's great. I also want to recommend the Terse Fit stand assist cane which really isn't a cane but I keep it in the bathroom with a Kinggear cane hooked onto it when I'm having a vagal synops attack after a bowel movement and need to navigate a narrow turn out of my bathroom to quickly and safely get into bed.
