Who cares how it sounds, look at this thing!
Just kidding. No not really. If this thing sounded just "okay" I'd still keep it for looks alone. Although, I do want to give it plenty of hours first before I pass judgement. I will return with a sound update, just wanted to drop some sweet pics! Although, right off the bat I've noticed how much more bass I'm getting out of this than from my Onkyo 9150. Couple of points aside from the sound: - You do not understand how heavy this is. I shudder thinking about the A50. - The packaging is superb! Kept everything safe and sound (pun intended). - Better binding posts than most speakers I've had. Quite surprised at this! - Using my 90db BR03 and A5.4 with dial mostly at 9 o'clock. Plenty loud. - Absolutely stunningly beautiful in person. Pictures don't do it justice. - Ordered an assortment of tubes for some good ol' tube rolling. I will return. *UPDATE: Been using this for about a month now and have tried it with Chane A5.4, Focal 706, Triangle BR02, BR03, and Klipsch RP600m. Best pairing so far has been the RP600m, followed at a distance is the A5.4. I'm not a fan of what it did to the BR02 or BR03 as it made the BR03 too bright and the bass too bloated on the BR02. I'm currently using it with Gold Lion KT77 and Voskhod 6N2P. It definitely has more personality and soul than my 9150, which is quite surprising as the 9150 is a long-standing favorite of mine for its tone. The A10 is also more textured and sounds more spacious. The music sounds more "alive". The only downside is it can sound a bit bright and bassy with certain parings. It really transformed the bass on the BR03 and made it way too bass heavy for my liking, so much so I had to pull it out another foot from the wall just to take the edge off. The BR02 pairing was just bad, but that speaker already sounded like an inferior BR03 to begin with. But it really makes the RP600m sing, especially with the two sets of Gold Lions I'm running them with (KT77s and 12AX7s w/ socket adapters). The bass is incredible. Tight, controlled and with a shocking amount of heft with absolutely NO bloat! It'll be fun to try this amp it with other speakers! *UPDATE 2: I've built my tube collection a bit. I have 4 sets of power tubes: stock Psvane EL34b, Electro Harmonix 6CA7, Gold Lion KT77, and Tungsol EL34b. 3 sets of preamp tubes: stock, Voskhod 6N2P and Gold Lion 12AX7. And 2 rectifiers: stock and Gold Lion 5AR4. I'm pretty much happy with all except the 5AR4 which makes gives it a thinner overall sound and the Psvane EL34b which sound kinda lifeless. Gold Lions definitely are the best for me, but the 6CA7s are also right up there and look nicer due to their fat-bottles and are a better value. I've had no issues with the preamp socket adapters and have probably 150 hours on them with the Gold Lion 12AX7s. Although, I've noticed there is now a Reisong A12, which has the 12AX7 sockets as standard instead of the 6N2P. F.Y.I, my pictures are 6-30 second exposures at f/1.4 - f/5.6. The tubes are nowhere near that glowy during use.

Excellent amp for High Efficiency speakers.
This is my second tube amplifier from China. I have previously purchased a Yaqin MC-13S about 5 years ago and it's still going strong. This unit arrived triple boxed, the outer amazon box was labeled fragile and after years of ordering and selling online I have found that labeling something fragile is a magnet for abuse, and this was no exception. the outer box was in very bad shape. Fortunately the amp itself comes double boxed and protected with foam. The tubes come in 5 boxes securely wrapped underneath the safety cage. The amp itself seems well constructed and the polished finish is beautiful. Something to note and something I learn with the MC-13S is that it needs to be gently cleaned regularly or it will attract a lot of dust, scratches and stain very easily and it's a pain to clean. I have made a nice nylon cover for it to keep it from happening again. Setting it up is very straight forward, set the tubes in the proper socket and orientation ,plug your speakers, your source and the power cable, turn it on and let it warm up for a bit and you're set. The amp will automatically adjust the bias so no need to do anything. The sound out of this little amp is excellent, very warm and clean provided you have the proper speakers for it. It is most definitely not a 12 Watt per channel amp as advertised (maybe 6 watt) and it will struggle to drive anything under 90db efficiency. My amp is powering a pair of Klipsch Heresy that are very sensitive ( 96db) and can get to be quite shrill and shouty with solid state amps, but with this amp there's none of that. Now to the bad part. In my first inspection I found that the power switch is not mounted straight, so the knob sits bent very slightly to the right, it also came loose so I had to re tighten the screw that holds it in place. Next was the power cable, it does not make proper contact when plugged in to the amp socket and had to be replaced. The cable is just a standard IEC power cable so none of this was a big deal and was an easy fix but you shouldn't be expected to be fixing things like this on a new amp even at the low price. Finally, one of the EL-34 tubes was defective, this would really be an issue if you don't have any spare El-34, KT-77 or 6CA7 tubes around. Now the good part is I contacted the seller TubeAmplifierStore and they replied very promptly with all the info I needed about compatible rectifier and preamp tubes. They also sent me the schematic of the amp and a new tube, it arrived two days later. Overall I think is a great entry point to tube amps if you are curious about tubes and the kind of sound they bring to music or if your budget is below more know tube amp brands that can be quite expensive. Just make sure you have some efficient speakers or you're not really gonna get much out of this amp. UPDATE: It's been 18 months since I got it and It's still as good as back then, no issues at all. I bought socket adapters to replace the 6N2 preamp tubes with 12AX7, worked great but they're not connected the same so don't try it without socket adapters. Also bought an RCA switch, having 4 sources and only two inputs gets annoying fast. Lastly the price has gone up since I got mine, It's still great for what you get but not at the bargain price it once was.

Shipping 5/5 Amp was ordered in April with the knowledge that delivery would be between June 2 - 5 and arrived on June 5. Opening the outer box revealed another cardboard box, so double packed in heavy cardboard boxes. The amp was suspended in packing foam with the tubes well packed in foam and boxes placed inside the protective cage. Nothing was able to shake or rattle and arrived in perfect condition. Appearance 5/5 As other reviews state this amp is heavy and has a solid feel to it. The mirrored finish is spotless and the amp looks great with protective cage on or off. This really is a beautiful piece and the "cool" factor is off the charts when those tubes are glowing. Even with the protective cage installed you can clearly see them. Setup 5/5 Amp came with wiring schematic and English instructions but really not needed, pretty self evident where the tubes go and there is a notch to align them properly. Pop in the tubes, connect your speaker wires and interconnects, plug it in and fire it up. If it takes more than 5 minutes to get this up and running, its you, not the amp. Functionality 5/5 Again very simplistic, On / Off and volume control knobs on the front. Very nice feel to the action of the knobs. Around back you get two RCA inputs, CD and AUX with a button to switch between the two inputs. Also binding posts with options for 4 or 8 ohm speakers. No problem with inserting on RCA interconnects or the banana plugs on the speaker wires and the connections seem tight. One review here complained of no way to switch between inputs and had to buy a switch box - not required, there is a little black button at the back you use to select. It is not obvious but it is there. Maybe they could have put another knob on the front to select, but this is a minor issue as due to clearance required around the amp for heat accessing it is no problem. I have my CD player directly into the CD input and Zone 2 from my receiver feeds the AUX so I can listen via bluetooth or my CD collection stored on my NAS. Sound 5/5 With this being my first tube amp, and due to my age I wasn't alive for the first go around of tube equipment I wasn't sure what to expect. Once the amp was hooked up I turned the power on with the volume turned all the way down. I originally hooked it up to an old pair of satellite speakers just in case as I was not risking my Klipsch RP600M. After letting it warm up for a few minutes to make sure it was all good I hit play on the CD player and gradually turned up the volume to about 12 o'clock and I have to admit was very pleasantly surprised with the volume and sound quality right away. Tubes apparently require a burn in period until they sound their best but sounded very good to me. With everything appearing to be in order I shut down the amp and connected it to my Klipsch and fired it up. I was blown away by the volume and quality of sound, I find it hard to believe it can get any better than this. This is a great sounding amp right out of the box. Vocals and instruments are fantastic: piano, guitar, cymbals reveal incredible detail. I can't comment too much on the bass response, it is pretty good and punchy but you can't expect too much with only 12W and 6 1/2" woofers. My AUX feed from my receiver goes through a Rolls Tiny Stereo 2 Way Crossover to feed a subwoofer that adds to the bottom end turning this into a great full range system. With efficient, larger speakers this would probably not be required so I can't deduct anything for that. I have maybe 15 hours on it and no problems so far and have run the volume to around 2-3 o'clock. One reviewer commented on the power, this is quite loud when paired with efficient speakers, I have yet to be wanting for more and was extremely pleased as 12W does not seem like a lot when used to 100W+ amps. If it is not loud, it is your speakers or a problem with the amp. Overall 5/5 When ordered I thought this might be more of a novelty, display piece for me and was fine with that. Within one day of use I knew that was not the case, this will be my go to for music listening for quite a while. Sometime in the future I may experiment with different tubes, but really no need to do so as they sound really good. If you are thinking about it, just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I'm an audiophile, but I'm sure there are others who are more knowledgeable than me here. Having said that, in my system, this was the perfect fit and certainly lives up to the hype. Also, it was my first time dabbling with Chinese hi-fi gear, and I must say, the quality really did surprise me, and I feel like I came at it with a negative bias too. If you look at the equipment coming out of China on an objective level, it's hard for any other country to compete on price-performance. MY SYSTEM - Klipsch RP-8000F's - Topping D10s DAC - Reisong Boyuurange A10 Tube Amp (this amp) - Blue Jean Speaker and Interconnect Cables PACKAGING There was some mention of poor packaging for what must have been an open-box purchase. The packaging on the brand new unit that I got was impeccable. It could have survived the nonsense abuse that Air Canada and Fedex subjects our parcels to with ease. You'd best believe that, if they packaged my firstborn premature child this way, I'd feel like the baby would survive a fall or two. Also, regarding what must have been an open-box purchase, my unit did not have any fingerprints or marks. It was literally perfect! See pics for the packaging I got. I'm telling you it doesn't get any better than this! Look at the corner holders. It literally prevents the inner box from even opening up. SOUND QUALITY I warmed up the tubes for 20-30 minutes before playing and sampled with a few albums of various genres. My favorites include opera, jazz, vocals, and lots of Beatles. The vocals were crisp, clear, and tubey in all of the right ways. I don't know the precise audiophile jargon to describe what's in my mind, but what I mean is that, the sound is very engaging, rich, and "life-like" in the way you would want a tube amp to sound. If you were looking for a 1000% transparent sound, you generally wouldn't be using a tube amp in the first place. With that said, it's not like the sound was sickeningly warmed-up. It felt just right- like the singer was in the room with you, or rather, you were in the studio or concert hall with the singer. PRICE AND VALUE You simply can't get a better tube amp of this quality at anywhere near the price, from everything I've researched. (It's currently Jan 3, 2021, and I bought it before the holidays in 2020). Buying it off Amazon cost only a bit more than shipping it yourself, paying the hassle of taxes and duties with customs, etc. so unless your have way too much time on your hands, just get it here. Compared to a non-tube, solid state amp, this was the better choice for our use case that consists of a of music and vocals. However pairing this with a warm-sounding DAC might not be the best option, in case the warmth is additive and stacks, but like most audio gear, you have really have to try it to know for sure - you might just notice that it maxes out at a point instead of stacking. COMPATIBILITY WITH SPEAKERS This will really depend on how loud you play your music, and the sensitivity of your speakers. My Klipsch RP-8000F's are very high sensitivity, and I never need to this amp set beyond 50%. The DAC is also set at only 75% when attached to my windows PC. YMMV, but keep that in mind. People who say this thing doesn't output sound simply aren't pairing their speakers and components properly, in my opinion. Wattage isn't the only thing that matters with amps. This is well established. With good, sensitive speakers, you're not going to be playing beyond 5 - 6 W in the majority of situations. Also, having said that, it's clearly stated what the wattage is for this amp. Don't blame the amp because you're not reading and building your system properly. CONCLUSION I'm very pleasantly surprised by the hi-fi equipment makers from China, starting with Reisong Boyuurange. I had always been a made-in-USA sort of guy, for a variety of reasons. I still am, technically, as you can see in my choice of speakers. However, I really can't argue with the quality (build and packaging), value, and overall sound of this tube amp. If you're on the fence about this tube amp, which is relatively cheap by audiophile standards, Amazon has great return policies that could help you test the waters. This thing was a no brainer for me! Would do it again!

I have been watching for a while for some minimalist, affordable vacuum tube amplifier to finally taste that sweat tuby sound! I read a lot of reviews and this one catch my attention. A bought this amp for my bedroom. It does not need to be loud. But I want it warm, airy, deep. The vocal need to be good focus and convincing. I use a pair of Klipsh RP-500-m and a Hi-Res player with preamp output. And you know what? It fulfills all my expectations. This vacuum amp is a pleasure to look and listening to (especially in the dark). The built quality, both inside and outside, is outstanding for the price. This is not a party amp! It will not shake your walls but, paired with efficient speakers, the 6 watts per channel can surprise you. Fast shipping. Arrived in mint condition. Extremely well packed. Amazon over packed box plus two more box in the box of bullet prove double layer corrugated cardboard. I do not regrette my purchase. It's worth every penny that it cost me.

I’ve read/seen lots of raving reviews about this tube amp so decide give it a go. Honestly for the price I didn’t expect any miracles. But I was blown away by the sound as soon as I played music on this amp. I come from a solid state amp which costs 7 times of the price Reisong. While this Reisong doesn’t beat that amp in the details department and bass clarity, it exceeded my expectations in overall presentation. Just enough highs to bring out the clarity, warm rich palpable mids and detailed bass. And the build quality is way above its price class. Beautifully and solidly built. The packaging was the best I’ve seen in anything I’ve ordered online, ever. It looked like it could survive a 20 foot fall. I bought this for my secondary listening room but tested it with my 92dB efficient Elipson Heritage XLS 15 speakers in 4 Ohm tap and it sounds amazing. When connected to 8 Ohm tap, the bass was bit too much and lacked details. 4 Ohm tap solved those issues. I only listen at moderate volume levels. I highly recommend this amp. I will definitely buying one of their their higher end amps in near future.
