Nice, clean and simple indoor/outdoor thermometer. WiFi range seems pretty good.

Excellent. Easy to use and reliable. Perfect when hibernating tortoises. The sensor is placed inside the sleep box and the base unit inside the house where the temperature can easily be read.

Easy to set up give a tolerance of plus or minus .5 of a degree placed side by side .1 to .2 error not bad. Easy to read Bad side if the rain gets to the outside receiver it stops working it’s not at all waterproof. I had to take the cover off and allow to dry before fitting a new battery. It started to work again, it’s now outside in a clear freezer bag and working fine Nice and simple bit of kit

Purchased in February died in November.

Replaced a Oria weather station purchased from Amazon in 2014, because the screen digits had faded to nothing. This one is much simpler and the screen is much less cluttered and clearer. It provides an accurate reading of internal and external temperature, which updates every couple of minutes. The digits are clear and can be read across a room. The room unit and outside sender both run on batteries, which provide long service. The sender (flashes red when sending) has a good range and the signal strength can be seen on the room unit. Delighted with this and would recommend.

This monitor is very neat and compact and is ideal for anyone who requires an accurate reading of the indoor and outdoor temperatures. Does not measure barometric pressure nor humidity but on the other hand not many people may be interested in these attributes. Easy to set up and was up and running within minutes. Has an excellent and large LCD display. The sensor has an excellent range, and the strength of the signal is displayed on the unit. Overall, an excellent purchase and good value for money.

It was easy to set-up & began giving accurate indoor/outdoor temps within minutes. The display is distinct & easy to read at a glance. It seems very sensitive to indoor/outdoor temps & continually varies in fractions of degrees. This is actually better than a home needs & the overall accuracy matches my other thermometers. Issues are that the two units need to be close together, with very little physical-structure between them, in order to get a strong & reliable signal. It has forced my choice of rooms to place the receptor in& the outside sensor has had to be put in far too sheltered a spot. The receptor is very power hungry; it has a battery indicator & (when the battery was only at half) the readings & display became gibberish. I’ve not tried the min/max feature or tried changing from C to F. … The batteries needed are, actually, two of AA & two of AAA; not as per description.

After my cold water tank froze despite recommended insulation, I decided to monitor how cold it got when the outside tempreture drops below freezing. Having a thermomter that has a remote slave enables me to see how the tempreture changes. This thermometer does exactly that. Minus 6 outside means the tempreture above the tank is zero. The water tempreture with improved insulation never drops below plus 3 deg c.

Das ORIA-Thermometer fügt sich nicht so ganz in die Reihe der Wetterstationen ein, die Amazon vorhält. Sie ist zwar ein ziemlicher "Winzling", mit ihren 2 cm hohen Ziffern punktet sie aber, wenn es darum geht, nur die wichtigsten Angaben auf einen Blick zu erkennen. Was haben wir beobachtet: - Zuerst sind 2 AAA-Batterien ins Thermometer und danach 2 AA-Batterien in den Außensensor einzulegen. Andere Stationen handhaben das meist in umgekehrter Reihenfolge! - Die Station zeigt in kürzester Zeit Innen- und Außentemperatur an. Alle ca. 2 min aktualisiert der Außensensor die angezeigte Außentemperatur. Andere Stationen tun das auch gerne alle 30 sec. - Liegen Sensor und Thermometer nebeneinander, weichen die Messwerte für Innen und Außen nur um wenige Zehntelgrad voneinander ab. Da sind andere Stationen oft deutlich schlechter. - Über einen ausklappbaren Fuß lässt sich das Thermometer in einem zum Ablesen günstigen Neigungswinkel aufstellen. Es kann aber auch aufgehängt werden, oder mit seiner magnetischen Rückseite an einer Kühlschrankfront haften. - Als Extra bietet das Thermometer MIN/MAX-Angaben an, die man mit einem Taster auf der Rückseite abruft. Dort findet sich auch ein versenkter Taster zur Umstellung der Anzeige zwischen Celsius und Fahrenheit. Das Display informiert klar ablesbar über die aktuellen Temperaturen drinnen und draußen. Und die Angaben lassen sich sogar aus größerer Entfernung deutlich erkennen. Dass darüber hinaus mit winzigen Symbolen auf die Empfangsstärke, den Batteriestatus und den Temperaturtrend hingewiesen wird, sei nur der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnt.

Efficace et design mais... attention les piles à utiliser ne sont pas celles indiquées dans l'annonce : il faut en réalité 2 piles AAA et 2 piles AA. Je recommande l'utilisation de piles au lithium pour permettre un fonctionnement pendant plusieurs mois.
