Good quality, good value for money

I have just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes & so I brought the Sinocare Blood Glucose Meter so that I could keep an eye on my blood sugar on a daily basis. I have found it to be very accurate based on using it just after having blood tests & got the same results. It's fairly easy to use, I would say it took me a couple of times to get used to doing it but now I have been using it for 3/4wks it's second nature. I have found that I have to have the pen set on 6 to get a gd bleed but I guess it will vary depending on the individual. The complaint I do have is it wasn't clear when I purchased it that you need Control Solution so you can set up and test the device before you use it. Otherwise I am extremely pleased with it and would recommend it.

I wanted to test my blood glucose to check I wasn't pre diabetic and I know from reading you can be pre-diabetic and display no symptoms. I consulted a few Youtube videos to see how this monitor worked and read through the manual thoroughly. I made a log of readings over a few days. I noticed that on the few occasions I did not wash my hands before testing, it made the results wildly inaccurate, so I quickly learned you need to wash your hands thoroughly before testing. I did a little reading and found trials had been done on people who had handled fruit before testing (without washing hands) and it affected the results. This is a good solid monitor, good quality plastic and comes with everything you need to test. I phoned the Diabetes Helpline to go through my readings and we concluded that my levels were normal. This is something I Had been wondering about for years, so to spend £23 to find out was money well spent. And also I have the monitor to retest in a year or so or whenever I wish. I would recommend.

I Bought this kit on a whim. I secretly thought I may be type 2 Diabetic. I had experience of diabetes in the family. So when the kit arrived it was an absolute breeze to use. The reading was indicative of type 2. So I've used this now for a month between 2/5 times a day. The readings have been very accurate when checked with my Diabetic nurse. The test control solution is also straight forward to use. This ensures you are getting accurate readings. ( Solutions aren't included in this kit ) This little monitor was recommended by diabetes UK. I'm more than happy with it. It's exceptional value for money. You won't go wrong with it.

Very easy to use and very accurate with the correct kit. Comes in a nice container for humidity/temps and blocking UV. Works great with the same brand blood test, ok value to money.

This is the first time using any kits and founds this Sinocare diabetic test kit to be amazing. Very easy to use and simple to put together and get working. The lance is pretty much pain free which takes the dread out of doing it so many times a day. The reading machine itself is simple to use and records previous results to looks back on too. 100% buy this again and will also recommend to anyone needing a new lance and device kit.
