Great product with several different pencil grip options included. All silicone and quite durable, all fit standard pencils and pens well. Fast shipping. Love the options in different finger gripping styles. My 5 year did not care for what style would have been my own preference so having other options has really been a game changer. This is a great product to help children learn to hold their pencils correctly. I love that there are three Different pencil grips so that as they progress with their writing, they can have less and less help from the Grip.

My continues daughter struggles with pencil grasp and motor skills. At her age, I wanted something fun looking but functional. She didn't like the one to put your finger through it however, the animal ones were her favorite. We didn't need all of these to stay at our home so we donated them to her occupational therapy teacher at school to use and give to other students

Super useful tool

These are Silicone, so it's not supposed to be sturdy and is supposed to be soft & flexible instead. They're durable and they come with so many pieces. I had some ending up on the floor, stepped on and still works. It just got a bit dirty after being stepped on. I put one of each grip on a pen and lay them on the table for my son. He started with stage one with no problem and actually corrected his death grip posture. Stage 2, he's holding it by the piece that's suppose to have his finger in it. So it's totally wrong. Skipped to Stage 3 and he seem to be able to hold it somewhat correctly. We tried going through all 3 stages same day, so was kind of rushing it, but a few days later, we did see improvements on his pen/pencil holding gesture. No more death grips! Wish I had these when I was young so I don't develop hand cocoon (shown on the product page) throughout my childhood until graduating college. My hand cocoon situation only improved after I stop taking notes with a pen all day long.

They are durable, but the description said they could be used to left handers. The single loop one cannot be comfortably used. It is FUNCTIONAL if you flip it over and use it as it is not intended to be used, but it's never comfortable. The fish has a weird groove for the third finger underneath to lay against the grip and it is great for right handed but the groove points the wrong way left handed. I tried flipping it over and putting the tail down for left handed, like I read a suggestion and although functional, not for long periods of time. I'll keep looking for a true amidextrous or left handed grip. I like the squarish one (not sold here) but it's too big for a 5-7 year old's hand. That's what I need. A small left handed grip. And this isn't it. If you have lefty kids, don't get this. I am left handed and want my lefty to have more support learning than I did.

These are great. Save my fingers while I color. Only wish there was a smaller option.

Came as advertised. Having a grandaughter on the spectrum who is in primary school I noticed she was struggling to control her grip on a pencil and holding it properly. Amazing little product that is simple and works , I am glad I purchased them.

My son Hamzah is 4. He is a smart kid who can read and write in this early age. The problem was he always hold the pencil or pen with a grip, and everytime we directed him to hold it right, he ends up having it in a grip. With this amazing product from YONEDA, Hamzah now can enjoy writing like ADULTS (as he like to express it) and he is so happy about it.
