Great Value. Heavy and Sturdy. Requires assembly with pressure treated lumber
Excellent construction -- Heavy and sturdy. Assembly was simple with four 8 foot weather treated pine. For more storage capacity you can use 10' or 12' lumber. Provides a large capacity of firewood storage away from the house. We pull from this pile as needed and rely on a smaller attractive fireplace rack on the patio adjacent to the fireplace. Great value for the money.

Well made and strong
Great product. I've bought three of these and they are super strong and well made. I used 8 foot long and four feet high pressure treated pine 2" X 4"'s to stack a half cord of split oak with each assembly. Holding up fine with little to no sag. It's a "no brainer" to assemble. I will purchase again when needed. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble
Firewood storage rack was assembled 6 feet wide and 4 feet tall. I did not have any pressure treated 2x4s to assemble it with. Since the rack is covered with a tarp, I am not concerned about it. Bracket and vertical supports are solid and good quality. The scrap 2x4s from Home Depot were loose fitting inside the bracket. I managed to snug them up with the included screws. The 13.2 inch wide is okay for my use. The small indoor wood burning stove can only accommodate 15-inch logs. This kit is worth buying and easy to assemble.

Worked perfect.
I needed a 4th rack and decided to try this. I also already had 6 eight foot 2x4s so those….it would have need nice to make the sides 5’ tall, but didn’t want to buy more lumber, so cutting an 8’ in half was perfect. The continuous steel bottom plate is perfect on my wood deck. This thing is sturdy as heck! Very robust. The listing indicates the 2x4 openings are 1.7 x 3.7, with is larger than typical dimensional lumber, so while lumber was easy to install, it is a bit wobbly. I decided to screw from the outside of the uprights to pull the lumber to the outside, let the split wood keep them pushed out. I didn’t use the inside upright screws. If I were to make the sides higher, like 6’ , I would consider getting a second kit to put two 8footers at the top, not necessary if you only go 4’ high. I didn’t use pressure treated, I may change it later. The nice thing is, if I need to store this, I’ll just get out my screw gun to take apart. The all metal racks would take forever to take out, and store. These are a great product, I wish I found these earlier.

Very sturdy, easy to build
We needed to stock up on a lot of firewood this year, which meant building new racks and making use of a few we already had. Our previous racks were made from 2x4s with cross members and large U-shaped ends. While those were functional, I decided to try something different and found these bracket kits. As a woman, I had no issues building the log racks myself. I purchased four 10-foot 2x4s and cut two of them down to make 10-foot bases. I then cut the remaining two in half to create 5-foot uprights. The bracket kit included screws, but I chose to use 3-inch screws for connecting the 2x4s and 1½-inch screws for attaching the brackets. I also used some scrap wood for the center braces. I actually prefer these racks over the traditional U-shaped design—they feel sturdier, and the added support on the uprights is a great bonus. An added perk: the brackets are available in different colors if you want to customize the look. To protect the wood, we use 3' x 18' green tarps (also available on Amazon), and they’ve proven to be a perfect combo with these racks. I would absolutely buy this style again and plan to gradually transition to this design as my older U-bracket racks wear out.

Rustic Wood Storage Bench Hack Worked!
I saw these and realized they were the perfect foundation for an indoor firewood-holding bench! Used the brackets for the top and bottom to stabilize the structure and then used 2-2X10s for the seats. Did have the local lumbar yard cut the wood the size of the bracket openings. It was nice not to use pressure treated wood inside and have nice fitting wood for the interior. Cost the same or less than standard big-box lumbar and exactly what we wanted. The opening will work fine with standard lumbar yard 2X4s but they are a little loose (not bad, good enough for outdoor wood storage). This worked great and have solid custom benches for 1/4 the price of having a custom wood worker make them. Sure, the professional would likely do a professional job, but for a primitive, rustic bench, this turned out pretty good and saved money. Next I plan to use these as advertised for outdoor firewood storage...

Worth the money
We have bought several sets of these brackets for building wood stands. They are sturdy and durable and easy to assemble. They are well worth the money. I would recommend them if you are building wood racks for firewood.

This is much sturdier than I expected from photos of the design. We could build a larger firewood storage with this if we wanted. As it is, it fits very well under cover just out the back door. I have just ordered another one for the workshop. I considered 4 stars because the wimpy, ineffective Philips head screws provided are inadequate if your 2x4s are at all firm. Philips screws should only be used where threads are provided. However, I can forgive part of the world not knowing about our Canadian robust and durable Robertson head wood screws. :) I can dab some black paint on them if I want them to match and not rust. Also, it would be beneficial if the supplier added a simple drawing to aid assembly. Refer back to the Amazon order page photos if you are unsure which way is up. I did take time to stain the wood - the results go very well with our country décor. A small wedge under the feet and a latch and eye keep the unit stable and properly level. This unit is 60 inches long and 40 inches high.

Nice and sturdy, project came out really well. You need to get the wood custom cut in S.Africa because the U.S. 2x4 size is non-standard, but any good lumber yard can do it. I also bought some stainless steel screws, the ones that provide are bad

J'ai commandé cette armature pour créer un chouette 'range bûches' et je ne suis pas déçu. C'est très solide et ça fait sérieux et durable.

Very stable and versatile product. Very happy overall but appreciated others commenting that a 2x4 doesn't fit! I brought the bracket into the store to find compatible wood. In case you are curious why a 2x4 bracket is smaller than 2x4, the explanation: "A standard US 2x4 actually measures 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches (1 1/2" x 3 1/2")". Thank you America for taking the imperial units to next level :)
