LEGO Star Wars at-RT 75003

I preordered this set on Amazon and it really is worth the price. The clone walker may not be that different than the one originally released for Revenge of the Sith, but it certainly looks great with the 501st color scheme and decals. All minifigures included are new and most of the are currently exclusives to this set. My favorite part of this set is the 501st trooper, who is long overdue from the movie/tv series. My only regret concerning him is that there are no holes on the side of his helmet. Yoda has a slight variation from his last release and Lego still refuses to give him a shoto. Other than that, I like him. The Commando Droid Captain looks okay; I'm not too impressed, but I'm happy that they finally released someone to command my commando droid army. The Sniper Droideka is totally awesome; it actually looks like its screen appearance. Usually, a set with 200+ pieces is priced over $19.99, so I'm glad that Lego decided to make this set affordable.

For the MSRP of $19.99, you get: A 501st Clone Trooper with rifle (new color scheme), Yoda with green lightsaber (new sculpt), Commando Droid with rifle (new color scheme), a Sniper Droideka, and a redesigned 'walker. The AT-RT has a few minor flaws. 1) Unlike the AT-ST (7127), it cannot swivel. The torso is static and does not turn, which hinders the playability of this new rendition of a classic design. If you own the Clone Scout Walker (7250), this is identical in fundamentals, with just a couple of different pieces for aesthetics (bigger front plate for instance). 2) The 2 radio antennas in the back are not secured and frequently falls off. On the plus side, the stickers are top notch transparent pieces of vinyl - better than the paper decals for Headhunter (75004), which I just reviewed. The Sniper Droideka is also a nice addition. Of all the recent destroyer droids, this one most closely resembles the film version, with the sphere back. Great set for the value. 3 Minifigs, 1 brick Minifig, and a small sturdy vehicle that should take anywhere between 10 - 20 minutes to build.

Yoda, a Droideka, a 50th Legion Trooper, a Commando Droid Captain and a huge AT-RT mech, this is awesome. The AT-RT is excellent, it's really big, I love the design and the many details. It stands on it's own very well and it feels very solid, the cannon rotates with ease. Also the Droideka is very interesting, I like the shape a lot and the way the pieces are assembled. There are a lot of interesting pieces in this set, I'm sure I will be able to build a lot of new mocs with this new pieces.

I own 4 of these for my clone army and it's great the at-rt is over sized but I don't plan to use it for my stop motion. Yoda is a great addition but can be annoying if you buy in bulk like me,if you just are a kid who plays with them I think you will enjoy yoda. The commando droid captain is a great edition to add to your commando droids if you have any. The droideka sniper is not as great but is new and you can definitely use it, I feel they should allow it to roll up but no big deal. And the 501st clone trooper is the best figure I have seen in a long time,a new helmet mold,great printing and looks nice on the at-rt,kids and collectors will love this figure. People of all ages will love this set,like everything it has flaws but is deserving of 5 stars. I so recommend this set.

Lets start out with the AT-RT (the walker), at the most forward position the walker can stand but barely in any other position. The minifigures (I include the sniper droid in this) are great. The Commando droid captain is really fun in little battles. The sniper droid isn't as fun to me but not bad. Yoda is great, the minifigure alone is around 10 bucks or more online. The 501st trooper is my favorite part of the entire set. Overall a great set especially for the price. So finally 1-5 ratings, AT-RT 4/5, Commando Droid 4/5, Sniper droid 4/5, Yoda 5/5, 501st trooper 6/5 (yes I know that kinda breaks the rules but hey it's awesome). 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, before I start this review, I need to discuss the shipping for this product. I ordered free shipping, and I will probably never order a LEGO set from Amazon again. The set took 3 to 4 days to ship out of the Amazon warehouse, and about another 3 to actually get to my doorstep. The time it took to actually ship the item is ridiculous. I mean, 3 days? Really? The actual shipping time was reasonable for free shipping. Onto the set. This Star Wars themed is very cool. It is set number 75002 and contains 222 pieces. It's usually priced at $19.99. The price is very justified, as the set achieves the prized 10 cents per piece price point. The set includes 3 fantastic mini figures. The first, and best, is the 501st clone trooper. He has printing on his helmet, head, torso, and legs. His arms are plain blue, and he has a specially molded helmet for the new clones. The second best figure is Yoda. I have never loved LEGO's tries to get the Yoda mini figure right. He does have a specially molded head and a printed torso. The worst minifig in this set is the commando droid captain. He just looks ugly to me. He does have a specially printed head just for this figure. Before I start with the AT-RT, the set also includes a droideka sniper. The droideka is alright, I guess. It is just flimsy, and the back looks a little bit chunky. Now for the AT-RT. This is the clone army's main scouting vehicle. LEGO has done an excellent job portraying it. The AT-RT has some very cool features. First, the legs of the walker move on hinges. Don't get me wrong, they stay in one place just fine. The legs have an excellent amount of detailing on them. The feet look amazing and support the walker greatly. The main torso of the walker looks very cool, and one mini figure is able to sit in the provided seat. There is a peg hole behind the seat for holding one weapon. LEGO has done a very good job especially with the front of the vehicle. The armor plating looks very 'protective' and has some nice stickers on it to add some detail. There are various markings, such as the 501st symbol and a white stripe running down the front. There is also a cannon on the front of the vehicle. Overall, this vehicle is a very nice addition to any collection and I give it a 9 out of 10.

I had the original ROTS AT-RT back in the day and absolutely loved it. I feel Clone Wars 501st AT-RT builds (no pun intended) on what the old one did right and makes it better in every way. The Walker is a beautiful replica of the Clone Wars version. It really adds to any Grand Army of the Republic you are currently building. Unfortunately, Legos don't clone quite like people. The minifigs are top notch. I love the Phase 2 troopers and the Clone Wars Yoda is very nicely detailed. Lego has yet to get the Droideka (this is the sniper version) quite right, but nonetheless, it still looks magnificent alongside my droid army. The Commando Droid is also a very nice addition to my collection. This set is a definite must have! I recommend it to people of all ages who love Star Wars as much as I do.

They really do bring great attention to detail of their products. This is no exception. The minifigurines are the best. I already have a Yoda from the 2011 Advent Calendar, so now I just have a non-Santa version. Problem is now I'm getting the itch to buy more. Only complaint is the scalpers already taking advantage of a lack in the Amazon marketplace. Luckily Lego proper has it for the listed $19.95. Don't patronize the scalpers until this product is out of normal production. Considering it literally came out on 12/31, that'll be a while.

Hallo, ich habe für meinen Enkelsohn das o.a. Geschenk bei Ihnen bestellt. Es wurde, wie mitgeteilt, termingerecht geliefert. Jedoch war die LEGO Kiste in einem desolaten Zustand. Verpackt nur in einer dünnen Kunststofftüte kam die Lieferung. Beim Öffnen der Tüte, war die LEGO Verpackung stark eingedrückt und zerrissen. Die Gesamte LEGO Box sah aus, als hätte sie schon lange im Lager gelegen und wäre oft hin und hergeschoben worden. Also nicht schön zu verschenken. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht!
