Nice level 2
I was a bit surprised how well this charger worked, it's simple plug and play, charging my solitaira from 5 to 100 in 10 hours. The built in monitor shows the Amps and KWh levels and they seem to match the input of the car. It was definitely less expensive than putting in a hardwired unit while getting comparable charge speeds. I didn't notice any heat buildup on the unit after the full charge which was something I was concerned about. The length of the cable is great too. I would definitely recommend this unit if your looking for a decent level 2 for an old dryer plug

Amazing
I love it. Easy to use just plug it in and it works. I cheated and used the forbidden y adapter to extend it. However DONโT CONNECT ANYTHING To the other side of the Y adapter if this is what you want to do. It gets VERY hot. I tested it out so you donโt have to. Youโre welcome. I used my dryer outlet which is 30amp to charge at 240v level 2. Itโs thick not super heavy, it chargers at a decent speed and I have had 2 major power bills and havenโt have any spike. The months August and September bills shouldโve been easily $600 for me and although a mild Georgian (Atlanta) summer my bill wasnโt even $200 it was actually $180 and $150. We mostly charged around 3pm which I donโt follow the trends so Iโm assuming thatโs a horrible time to charge. We always charge overnight mostly. So either we are done charging before we go to bed or we are done while sleeping and wake up to take it off. Overall we love it and I did a ton of research that landed me on this one before I bought it. So glad I found this on the first try.

Excellent high quality charge cable, but watch the plug
I have used this cable for 4 years and it has always been dependable. I have the old 26 amp version & I now see they are rated at 25A, which may be good because when I unplugged it from the wall outlet (NEMA 10-30 version), I noticed that one of the blades on the plug had gotten hot, and it was melting the plastic of the plug. The plug always got warm while charging, so I didn't think much of it until I unplugged it and saw the evidence of heat buildup. I always assumed the warm plug was due to pushing the current limits of a 30 amp circuit. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to check your plug from time to time to make sure it isn't getting TOO warm. I'm removing the plug and converting to a NEMA 14-50, which can handle more current and seems to be standard for EV chargers. I'll have to convert to a 50 amp circuit too, but at least I won't have to worry about it overheating. Update 8-23 I should have contacted Mustart before posting a negative review. I still have reservations about the NEMA 10-30 version, but they offered to replace the cable, hopefully with the NEMA 14-50, even though it was well past the warranty period. I didn't think that type of commitment to standing behind products even existed anymore! As I said earlier, the cable has been very dependable- it just keeps working under daily use (sometimes with two cars)-other than keeping an eye on the plug, I couldn't be more satisfied.

An excellent vehicle charging unit.
This charger works like a champ! It lets you know if the unit has power, the vehicle is plugged in, charging, or "Houston we have a problem". We have used it for over a year, and it has never failed us.

Worked for 3 months then died.
Worked great the first 3 months charging my Kia Ev6 with no problems. Went to work this morning and noticed it did not charge last night. Thankfully I had enough battery to get to work and back. Some how it tripped the breaker. After resetting the break a few more times the charger would make a clicking sound repeatedly. I tried everything to get this junk to work but it would either trip the breaker or continuously make a clicking sound. Very disappointing.

Red Light Means Charging?
Purchase this for 25 amps and low cost. Reviews seemed okay at the time but now I'm starting to see many one star reviews. My biggest complaint is I do not like the red light illuminated when charging. A red light to me means a problem. Every time I see the red light I think there's a problem but on this charger a red light means it's charging. Stupid. Only other issue I have is sometimes it's difficult to unplug from my car. But in reading these reviews again, now what I'm worried about is the life expectancy. I actually use it maybe only once or twice a month in my remote office so hopefully I won't have any problems for years to come...
