CLEARED UP IN ONE WEEK!!
I have had tinea on my back for YEARS. I have tried prescription creams and they never got rid of it. I was always so itchy and insecure about how it looked. I ordered this cream and applied it for a week on a daily basis. It is all cleared up now and I have not had any itching. The cream does not have a bad smell which is great compared to the prescription creams I’ve tried. Definitely worth the price!

Good Effort, But Not a Complete Solution for Me
I decided to give the Terrasil Tinea Treatment 2-Product Ointment and Cleansing Bar System a try when I was dealing with tinea versicolor. The fact that it included both a soap bar and an ointment was appealing, as I was hoping for a comprehensive solution to tackle this skin issue. While it didn't completely cure my tinea versicolor, I understand that this condition can be quite stubborn and might require stronger measures, possibly even a prescription medication. Given that, I believe a 4-star review is appropriate to reflect the product's effort and my overall experience. The soap bar was gentle on my skin and had a nice lather. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed after each use. It's great to have a product that's specifically formulated for tinea treatment while still being mild on the skin. The inclusion of the ointment was also a plus, and it felt soothing upon application. The texture wasn't too greasy, which was a relief. However, my tinea versicolor didn't completely clear up with this treatment. While I did notice some improvement in the appearance of the affected areas, the patches persisted to a certain extent. I understand that the effectiveness of such products can vary based on the severity of the condition, so I'm not overly disappointed. In all fairness, I appreciate that Terrasil offers a more natural alternative for tinea treatment. It's clear that they've put effort into creating products that are safe and gentle for the skin. I also appreciate the convenience of having a two-product system that's easy to incorporate into my skincare routine. Ultimately, while the Terrasil Tinea Treatment 2-Product Ointment and Cleansing Bar System didn't provide me with a complete resolution to my tinea versicolor, I do believe it's a worthwhile option for those with milder cases or as a complementary treatment. If your condition isn't too severe, this might be a suitable solution. Just remember that for more stubborn cases, consulting a healthcare professional for stronger intervention might be necessary. (mind my half used soap bar)

It works
After reading reviews I quickly tried this. TV is on my chest and slowly made its way to my neck...FL weather is hot and humid & I'm so embarrassed by it because when it's red and itchy then gets blotchy looking- I'm always conscious if people are starting at it. The product is small, palm size small but a little goes a long way... after 2 days the itch was minimal, my skin was smooth, the redness was gone after a week.. the rash area was basically dried up and peeling off like shedding to reveal new skin. I was using the soap on my chest alone and I thought it would be a tingly refreshing feel, but no...it does however seem to aid in clearing the skin quickly with use of the cream. I do wish it were stronger because sometimes I feel a tad itchy but I'm forcing myself not to scratch it as not to undue how the fast results I received. But overall its a great product that I will purchase again but a bigger size. Good luck on your journey to clear skin

The Soap Bar Is Great, But The Ointment Is Too Little For Too Much
I bought this product for 40 dollars expecting more product and the tube only lasted me a few days. Didn't notice a lot of change, but the bar is great. I saw noticeable differences in the color of the patches on my skin and it was completely gone after about 2 weeks. My suggestion would be to buy the bar standalone and then purchase Fungicure Wash. Both can be used in the shower and completely get rid of Tinea Versicolor and it's far more affordable.

Works well, noticeable improvement
Had been dealing with tinea versicolor for a while and this treatment combo actually made a real difference. The cream and soap together work better than using either alone. Noticeable improvement within a couple weeks of consistent use. Made in the USA which was also a plus. Would recommend to anyone dealing with this condition.

RIPOFF
I’ve used this product twice now, but after doing a lot of research and comparing price and active ingredients this is a complete ripoff. FIRSTLY the soap is trash it’s not even medicinally anti fungal, I repeat it has no proven anti fungal medication in it, it has some natural plant but that has no peer reviewed effect on rescuing fungus, so it’s snake oil, it’s also just garbage soap, it lathers like a brick and is slippery than a cat fish, I used it religiously and when I did my research and found out it literally doesn’t even kill fungus I was pissed. The cream is worse, why? Because you get half an oz for basically $25 because as I said the soap is POINTLESS. So now we’re paying $25 for half an oz if cream that will last you less than a week if you actually have tinea versicolor and are addressing it. Now I’ll tell you why I’m truly upset, after doing my research I found that Miconazole (specifically globe brand) is clinically more effective than clotrimazole that’s in Terrasil, and it’s $5 FIVE DOLLARS. IT IS MORE CLINICALLY EFFECTIVE THAN TERRASIL. It is a higher dose and has peer reviewed studies that show how effectively anti fungal it is. Also it’s a WHOLE OZ so let’s not compare apples to apples unless we consider the true cost, to get 1oz of cream with this kit (it’s the only anti fungal aspect of this kit) you would spend $50 . Now if you bought the cream alone form terrasil it’s $16/17 , so to get an oz would be at least $32, COMPARED TO $5 OF MICONAZOLE. And on top of that you can get an actual anti fungal soap to use if you just buy selenium sulfide shampoo aka head and shoulders or an off brand like Amazon basics which is also $5, and thats actually effective. The fake terrasil soap is 2.65oz , the Amazon basics is 11oz and actually anti fungal. So you can make a more effective not cheating honest kit yourself by purchasing globe miconazole and Amazon basics dandruff shampoo, get 2/3x the amount of product, product that works better, product that actually works and isn’t a scam and you’d save $15. That’s why I’m so pissed, I bought this kit twice now and yes the cream does have clinically proven anti fungal clotrimazole, so it works but it’s so expensive when there is cheaper more effective options. The soap is what really pisses me off, it’s not anti fungal and is also literally the worst soap I’ve ever used, dollar tree soap bars are better and cost $1.25. This is a marketing scam, they give you cheap soap and make you pay $25 and for what? A brand name? Buy Globe Miconazole and Amazon Basics Selenium Sulifide shampoo and you have 10x more effective regimen for tinea versicolor than garbage lying terrasil. I spent $50 on lies and scams. Save money, get better medication, treat your skin condition, Jesus love you
