I plan to wire in series with on/off photocell. My config. forces me to have the photocell ahead of dimmer. Will dimmer retain last dimmer setting?

We are looking for the same setup with a separate photocell ahead of the outdoor dimmer, no wifi here...were you able to locate the right outdoor dimmer? If so, can you share please

Does the timer function to turn the lights off atuomatically and repeat the cycle the next days without touching it again?

Seriously. I bought 10 packs of cheap plastic Christmas candles (from Big Lots) to put in my windows during the holidays. They have 2 batteries in them. The magically turn on and off each night at the time of my choice. last year was my 4th year using them...my guess is it's sorcery.

I bought 2 of these June 28 and both have failed in less than 3 months?!?!

If your question is wanting to know if others have failed, I'm probably not going to help because I used mine for about 2 months at Christmas time and I did not have a problem.
