Excellent
I just received the Victiv 72-inch Camera Tripod in blue and I’m genuinely impressed. Right out of the box, the build quality stands out — it feels solid and well-made with sturdy aluminum legs, smooth-adjusting locks, and a robust head that inspires confidence. No cheap plastic feel or wobbly parts; everything is tight, precise, and built to last. It extends to a nice tall height (perfect for overhead shots or taller users) while collapsing down to a very portable size. The included phone mount, wireless remote, and monopod conversion option make it incredibly versatile for both DSLR cameras (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.) and smartphone photography/videography. The grip handles and flip locks work smoothly, and the overall stability is excellent even on uneven surfaces. For the price, this is an absolute steal. You’re getting heavy-duty professional features and build quality that easily rivals tripods costing twice as much. I’ve already used it on a couple of shoots and it performed flawlessly. Highly recommended for beginners and pros alike who want something reliable without spending a fortune. Five stars — well built, feature-packed, and fantastic value!

Really nice general-purpose tripod, well-engineered, excellent value.
I'm impressed with the quality and utility of this tripod considering its under-$50 price. Clearly someone put a lot of thought into its design. It's light and reasonably sturdy. Construction is almost entirely plastic and aluminum. (All the tubular parts, such as leg sections, monopod sections, and center post, are aluminum.) As advertised, it can be set up to be quite tall. I'm over 6'-2", and it easily sets up at a comfortable height for me, whether in tripod or monopod mode. Speaking of which, it's got a fast-to-deploy monopod, which should be handy for outdoor photography. It seems to me this tripod should really shine for indoor use, although the center hook allows weight to be added to make it more stable outdoors. It can also be made more stable by not fully extending the legs. (I'm actually planning to use this tripod mostly outdoors, so it'll be interesting to see how it performs and holds up under those conditions.) Also as advertised, the pan and tilt functions provide a degree of "image stabilization" when moving the camera. With a little practice and careful adjustment of knob tension, I'm able to pan and tilt my video camera quite smoothly. The included bluetooth remote paired quickly with my smartphone and works great. That brings me to my one complaint about this tripod, and it's minor: the instruction pamphlet that accompanies the remote has comically tiny print. Unless your vision is incredible, you'll need magnification to read the 1.5-mm high font they used. Some reviewers have commented that the storage bag is a bit small. Maybe the manufacturer has addressed this in the meantime, but I found the bag to fit perfectly when everything is properly collapsed, with room to spare for instructions and accessories. I wouldn't want it to be any larger because then the contents would slide around. So, is this tripod suitable for professional-grade use with heavy telephoto lenses, or in very windy conditions? Probably not. But for general-purpose use, tight budgets, or where light weight is desirable, it's a hands-down winner. I'm glad I bought it.

Good for the price
For $43, you really can't beat this. I bought this to mount my Celestron 15-35 x 70 zoom binoculars, and it holds them securely with plenty of stability. This tripod extends VERY tall which is perfect for using my binoculars with. the quick release mount works great and the built-in removeable monopod was a very nice feature. Some extra items like a second adapter plate, a phone mount, and a nice carrying case. This is well made, but there is a lot of plastic in its design. The head is all plastic, as are the pieces that hold the legs onto the center mount. With the knobs for the different axes, you need to be careful not to over tighten them. It only takes a little tightening to secure the different positions. The legs themselves are aluminum and that is about all that is metal, except for the bolts inside the knobs and the metal pivot handle. Is this the sturdiest tripod? No, but it is a very well made one for the price point. The picture shows this tripod with all for sections of the legs extended. This is with the mast all the way down. Raising that up easily puts this at over 80" tall.

Good Tripod for the money!
LONG STORY SHORT: This is a pretty good tripod for the money. REALLY tall, and yet it packs down to the size of many other tripods. I use it frequently, and it's held up nicely. PROS: -Light weight -Lots of configuration options -Packs down small -Pretty sturdy CONS: -The head sometimes comes loose sometimes. You are able to spin the head left and right by loosening the knob on the side, but sometimes the actual connection with the tripod comes loose, and when you tighten the knob, it's still loose. So you have to tighten the connection, then loosen the knob again, and reposition. OVERALL: I like it. works just fine for me. It mostly stays at my house, so I haven't put it through rigorous "in the field" testing. I'm glad I have it.

THE BEST Tripod ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Great, Versatile Tripod” This Tall Multi-use Tripod has been perfect for all my photography and videography needs (Phone or DSLR). It extends to a great height and feels sturdy even in wind. The legs adjust easily, and the fluid head makes smooth video shots. It’s lightweight, yet supports heavier cameras. The locking mechanism is secure, and it’s an excellent value for its quality and versatility. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable tripod!

The more I use this tripod the more I enjoy it's versatility.
When I purchased this tripod, I thought, "Gee, this looks like a good deal...". Since then I've come to rely on it as my "GoTo" piece of equipment. I thought it was cool that it had a selfie stick on it, wow, what an underestimation. I rarely use it as a selfie stick, I'm not that interesting of a subject. But, I do use it to get many new perspectives on out of reach items I shoot. I can get close to leaf clusters still up in the tree. I mount my video camera on it and use it to get interesting low-to-the-ground traveling shots. and so often it's use as a monopod for quick sets and snaps has proven it's usefulness. The tripod itself is stout and sturdy even at it's maximum height. The hook on the bottom is perfect for holding cables, my kit, or adding a bit of extra weight for even more stability. Smooth panning and tilting are facilitated by the great mount which lends confidence in use, no jerky motion, no squeaking or "grunting". The extra mount helps enormously for quick changing of devices. Monitors, lights, mics, all have been used on this all-in-one tripod. And yes, I'm gonna get another one, soon. At least one more. The brushed aluminum blue does not show dings or chips in the colored surfaces, and the leg clamps are tight and easy to adjust. If you haven't noticed, I just can't say enough about this tripod "system". A system, because it's so much more than just a tripod. Oh, one last thing. The bluetooth remote is GREAT and paired easily with my Android phone, and I only wish my cameras were bluetooth capable. But with the included phone mount for the head, I've had 3 different phones (sizes) used as cameras and all of them (Samsung, Motorola, and Google Pixel) paired easily (with the remote) and fit securely in the accompanying mount. This is NOT a solicited review, I just figured I owed it to you all potential purchasers, to let you know what a great tool this is.

Nice, Lightweight but Stable tri-pod
I bought this for mounting a spotting scope to, although I will use it occasionally for camera work. I wanted a lightweight unit for ease of packing into remote places. Heavier tripods will me more steady than this one, but I can't afford the weight for my use. This tripod does have a hook at the bottom of the center post for adding weight, however, so one's backpack might make a suitable ballast for making this steadier. It works well for a spotting scope and a still camera - especially if you have a shutter remote. Not quite steady enough for a video camera that one may be panning with. It's height is incredible. I am 6 feet tall, so 72", plus the height of whatever I have mounted to it, is certainly more than I'll ever need on level ground. However, I am often on uneven terrain, so adjusting the length of the legs individually to compensate for the slope is well within the capability of this tripod. The price is very reasonable. I looked at other tripods marketed especially for spotting scopes and most started at twice the price of this one. I am very happy with it.

Veristal, compact, sturdy.
I use this for my mobile auto detailing company. For my videos. And it is very Very flexible and sturdy. From having 1-2 legs in of of the car seats. To standing out side the cars looking in. It does s great job at doing what it's built for. And the multiple adjustment legs and center post. Really make it worth while. It comes with a phone mount and sturdy camera screw mount. And a carrying bag. It's not made from the best material but it works. To put everything in. It's also compact enough for my camera backpack. So I just put it in there.

Even better than advertized!
Exactly as advertised, except the color looks more like copper than orange. It seems very sturdy, considering how light it is. And with 4 segments per leg, it folds easily into the provided bag. Love it!

Perfecto
