What's the cleaning beads used for?

The beads are used for removing the stubborn wine setiment that doesnt get removed from the decanter after normal cleaning. Insert the beads into the decanter, swirl them around for a little while with soapy water to remove the setiment. Hope this helps.

What size is the opening in the neck of the glass?

The opening of the glass neck at the top is 2 inches

this is made in china. why does this product come up when searching made in america only ?

Can I receive a replacement of the rubber ring that goes around the top of the lid part to hold it in place? I got this as a gift but I lost that.
