Can I use a fountain pen refillable adapter be used in the pens? There is iridescent ink for calligraphy I want to use.

Has anyone had trouble getting the ink to flow freely? I’ve never used a calligraphy pen so maybe I’m not loading the cartridge correctly.

No, ink does not flow with this set. They are horrible. I threw mine away and bought a different pen. Buy a Sheaffer. It comes with 3 different nibs and it write amazingly smooth. Very easy to use. Better throwing your set away and buying the Sheaffer.

How many pages are in the intro booklet? Can I see some pictures of the inside of the booklets? I want to know if it is good for a beginner.

Good for beginners, but perhaps not for those more experienced.

I have had a bit of a dabble with calligraphy, so I bought this just as a cheap and cheerful way of getting a few pens. It arrived yesterday and I've tried it this morning. I think it is a good set for beginners, because the pens move easily across the paper (even in the 'wrong' direction). This is because the tip of the nibs appears to be rounded. The downside is that this means the 'fine' strokes are thicker than they perhaps could be. Not as noticeable on the wider nibs, but on the fine ones there's very little differentiaition between fine and thick strokes.

Bonjour ! Le produit est conforme à la description. Tout est correct ! Je l'ai reçu dans un parfait état. Aucun commentaire à faire. Si vous aimez la calligraphie, cet ensemble est fait pour vous surtout si vous savez manier la plume. À l'intérieur de la boite un petit livret d'accompagnement vous donnera l'envie de vous exercer un peu. La calligraphie est aussi l'art de la patience, le gout raffiné, la pensée. Vous avez le choix d'utiliser les plumes selon votre choix. Prenez un peu soin de ne pas trop appuyer sur vos stylos pour ne pas briser la pointe. Après tout, le produit est bon pour vous ou pour en faire un beau cadeau. Je le recommande !

I’m so thrilled with this new calligraphy set! I’ve had a set since college, but over time the tips started to wear out, so I decided it was time for a replacement. This one is fantastic there’s a really nice range of pen tips and a variety of colors to work with. The quality feels solid, and the price was very reasonable for everything that’s included.
