NOTE: This is a PASSIVE adapter, not active -- may not work with many GPU Cards
Despite the description, this is NOT an active adapter and will not work with many GPU cards. I used it on the DVI-D 24+ output of my MSI Radeon RX560 to a VGA monitor and it would not work. An active adapter has internal electronics to convert a digital signal to analog--and this one wasn't able to do that. Returned for a refund and ordered a different active adapter. The description of this adapter should be changed to avoid confusion with potential buyers.

IT WORKS AS DESCRIBED
It arrived a day early. I hooked an older TV/monitor to an older desktop PC after the main video connection failed. Worked as soon as I hooked up the adapter. Very pleased.

This is a simple adapter ... no problems at all, arrived quickly, does exactly what I needed ... converts my dvi output to a vga input to my monitor. Happy.

Easy to Use - just Plug it in!
I needed an adaptor to connect a new ASUS motherboard that had only DVI-D and HDMI outputs to a monitor that had VGA. There were no problems with it, I just plugged it in and it worked with a good picture.

Good adapters.
These are the best connector I have ever used. It fits nicely works very well not obtrusive the screws keep it tightly in place even the weight of the cable doesn'tmake it come loose. The price of these is wonderful very well made highly recommend.
