Great Boot, Wonderful Fit, No Break-In
I bought these boots for work... and MAN ARE THEY GREAT. I am a Delivery Driver in Minnesota and am bound to run into about any type of weather, sometimes without much warning. I wanted something that was a little higher than a hiking boot so I wouldn't have to worry about stepping into somewhat deep snow. The extra 2 inches also feels much more supportive on my ankle. The composite toe seems to make the boot quite a bit lighter than steel and doesn't seem to make my toes as cold. It has been blistering cold the past few weeks, about -20 ferinheight, and these boots with a pair of wool/liner socks have done a pretty good job at keeping my feet warm. The only thing that seems to get a little cold is my toes.. but it is -20 out for cryin' out loud. They feel great from the moment you put them on your feet. No break in needed which is one of my favorite parts of the boot. Plenty of cushion and arch support on the insole, and my feet don't feel like they've been in heavy work boots at the end of the day... WOW! Traction feels good inside the warehouse and out on the road. Easy to clean up. I haven't gotten to try out the waterproof leather and membrane yet other than some snow, but I will check back in spring when I'll be trying to avoid the lakes we will have in the road. As for sizing goes, I usually wear a 10 1/2 shoe and ended up with a 10 with this boot. depending on how your everyday shoes fit your feet, they seem to be true to size. This is a great boot from Timberland, It fits my needs perfectly! If I find something I don't like about these boots I'll be sure to let you guys know... but so far, I can't find anything about them I don't enjoy!

Great boot.
I got exactly what I expected, an excellent work boot at a very affordable price. Love the support, protection and all-day comfort right out of the box. Plenty of room at the toes. Very well built, rugged construction.I own a previous pair of Timberland Pro's that are very similar to these (look, composite toe, 8" height, sole, construction) but they are no longer offered. I have put them through hell (on my working ranch) wearing them in every-other-day rotation. They are well over two years old and still going strong and very comfortable. I recently replaced the insoles, which I should do more often in boots as it really makes them feel like new.On both pairs of boots I did modify the fit and comfort just slightly. I put a cheap double-thick, no arch, flat insole under the existing insole. Took up just a bit of space and provided even more cushion. It tightened up the fit on my foot just slightly, which for me was perfect. YMMV.My ranch work includes long stints on concrete in my work-shed, and plenty of mud, muck, and manure in my fields. I never miss a step in these boots no matter the specific environment.Great boots at a great price.

Quality construction
These boots are somewhat heavy and bulky, but I like that look and feel... and they are warm enough for chilly winter days.I can vouch for them being very water resistant, having worn them in snow for an extended period of time. They are cushioned throughout, with a decent arch support and sole that seems to protect my injury-prone feet while standing on concrete for 8+ hours a day. One gripe: the left shoe has a spot on the tongue that puts pressure on the top of my foot; not terrible, but after a while it starts to hurt. I do tend to lace my boots pretty tight though, and it seems to be getting better as they are breaking in. I'm hopeful it will go away completely in a few more days. Overall, I'm quite happy with these. A very good boot for the price.

Impressive boots,(updated review)
Planning to get a second pair of these.Very solid boot, built like a tank but as comfortable as sneakers. My first pair of Timberlands, impressed with the quality.Edited review:So these boots lasted me about 8 months in total.I was forced to replace them when caustic chemicals at work eventually ate through the leather upper, exposing the waterproof membrane. To these boots credit they continued to keep the water out for some time, till eventually I started to feel water seeping in.The main complaint I have with these boots is the plastic hooks and ring, located on the upper portion of the boot, which makes up the innovative and excellent speed lacing system. One of the plastic loops broke,I replaced it with a keyring, worked fine by the way. Then one of the plastic hooks broke, which I could have found something to replace it with in my local hardware store, but seeing as they were starting to let in water anyway,I didn't bother. These cheap plastic components let the whole boot down a bit.I'd recommend anyone buying these break the plastic pieces off and replace them with stainless steel rings and fashion some iron hooks out of whatever for the laces. It'll save you complaining about breaking plastic.Overall I would recommend these boots.Very comfortable, and pretty tough.Just not the right boots for the industry I work in.(food service).Waterproof but need a lot of attention to keep the leather from rotting if constantly immersed in water, like any other leather product.

Most Comfortable
This is the most comfortable work boot I have ever owned. I'm on my feet all day at my job site. They are light and flexible and yet give me the protection an security I need from my work boots. Im a bigger guy at 240 + lbs and at the end of the day my feet are saved and feel good when I take my boots off. Not tired and sore as they have been in the past. The soles are made very well and have lots of spring which returns the energy back to my feet and body. Very satisfied and the are very good looking boots as well. I have had them for about a month and wear them daily and they are holding up very well. Great quality.
