It is a nice thick and smooth paper that works great with my fountain pens.

Nice portable notebook for fountain pens
This has been a great new find. The paper works well with fountain pens and it may not be the smoothest compared to some more expensive brands however the paper has a nice glide and feel to it and the ink doesn't bleed. I can use both sides of the page without bleed thru. Great book and nice size for me. I highly recommend.
