My wife liked it a lot
MY wife says this book was helpful to her. She says it gave her better understanding of Mary.

A very thorough and logical look at Mary from Biblical Exegesis
I have recently tried to grow in my relationship w/ Mary as a real mother figure, but there is only so much pious material you can look at and rosaries you can do before you get lost and really start to question: who is Mary really? What was her personality like and how would she have faced growth points in her own path to holiness? What kind of mother and parenting style did she really have? How did she respond to God’s will and what was her real relationship with her son like? Is she someone that I could really relate to and see her for all that a mother of all mothers ought to be? I also wanted a firm, logical, and exegetical foundation for these questions to be answered that doesn’t just pull from Tradition alone and really tackles the various arguments head on in a readable way. To my pleasant surprise-I got both. I would also recommend reading this book in conjunction with another book by Edward Sri “Praying the Rosary Like Never Before,” which was very helpful to put principle to practice and smooth out the dryer parts of this book that inevitably come with the much needed and thorough scholarship that is on full display here. My one improvement I would say is for a more thorough addressing of the arguments of the queenship of Mary (w/ regards to what is found in the section on the Visitation, but there is also more thorough explanation of other passages and support for the idea in other areas too).

The best book on Mary I’ve read.
Very insightful and easy to follow. This is a must read for anyone who is trying to understand why Catholics honor, not worship, Mary. This book takes SCRIPTURE and gains a better understanding about Mary and her unfailing trust in God. Mary has so much to teach us about trust and faith in our Almighty God.

Mary, what do you know?
I'm a recent convert to Catholic church. I used to be a Protestant and had many questions about how all the Marian dogma was started and what the biblical references were. In this book by Edward Sri he explains where and how it started and what the Bible says about it. Well worth the time and price.

Many pages had smeared printing.
This is an excellent book and appeared to be in perfect condition. However, many of the pages were smeared and difficult to read.
